So I just scored a pretty decent bag of Opium. I went all out and got 3.5 grams, because it doesnt come around much, and i fugured it'd be nice to share my finding with some friends. I have a chill setting, a clean and spacious room with some speakers and couches. I was wondering if you guys has any music that you liked to listen to while on opium or any other opiate. Give me some song names or maybe just band names in general.
    Thanks, goofydrummer

i enjoy basement on a hill by elliott smith on morphine so id imagine itd be just as good on opium. very chill and relaxing music, kinda creepy at the same time, sets the vibes well for an opiate i think.

I dont know, opiates never had much of a particular style of music for me, sometimes I may enjoy some slower, drawn out slide guitar kind of shit, but normally opiates just enhance everything around you, including all generes of music. Except country. Unless its Heroin ;)

You lucky son of a bitch.

Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin would be the best...

i really enjoy listening to chill acoustic music along the lines of the avett brothers or yonder mountain string band or rap along the lines of sage fancis or sandpeople

Yeah it was legit. I don't think it was that good, because I smoked some at a earlier this summer and it seriously blew the other shit I had before out of the water. Definitely opium though and worth the 120 dollar 8ball.

Radiohead is prime when pinned. Elliott Smith was already mentioned earlier. Jose Gonzalez is also good if you like acoustic guitar stuff.

Congrats on your opium. I surely wouldn't mind stumbling along some.

My girlfriend and I saw him live a few weeks ago! She and her friend got to talk with him after the show, he seemed like a nice guy

The above mentioned are great ( Elliott, Jose, Black Moth)

I love me some trip hop though, especially Zero7, Portishead, and DJ shadow.

    Oh! Sigur Ros also.

I second the Black Moth suggestion! Also good are Handsome Boy Modeling School, The Chemical Brothers, Portishead, Cody ChesnuTT, DJ Shadow, Infected Mushroom, Bizzy Bone, Polyphonic Spree, Dresden Dolls, TV on the Radio, and some old school R&B like Al B. Sure!, Michael Jackson, and anyone else who can really get "emotional" in their music. Nirvana is classic opiate music, and so is Sublime, etc.

has to be some Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli check out "minor swing" i'm not joking its orgasmic lol, and High Contrast a few of his songs are great try "kiss kiss bang bang". main thing is just listen to music you normally like and mix it up a little try some new things and most of all get damn high! ENJOY!
