Alright. I'm tired of living here in colorado. I'm hitch hiking out off here to some place with a bigger music scene. Maybe to california, washington, or oreagon. Need a place to stay. anybody looking to help a musician out ???
Philly has grown an indie scene here that seems to be becoming a movement on the east coasties. R5 records, Bodymores hipsters, NY underground... it reminds me of a cross between hippies and folkies and the velvet underground.
So, are you a musician exclusively? any studio work? any live sound operation skill? A lot of the music in these areas are in bars.... can you get in? (not being rude just wanted to see what your situation is...) Dylan walked into Greenwich village in the 50's and got paid a dollar a day to play harmonica at a coffee shop.. you don't hear a lot of those stories anymore..
I play at a bar every sunday and thursday. I play guitar on the street over now and then but i make about ten bucks in one hour. right now I'm working on recording my music.
