I was standing in line at the gas station, and I looked back to see a little boy with white hair standing behind me. I said , " Oh, look at your hair, it's so pretty! How is it so white?" And his older brother said he was albino. I then proceeded to say, "Well, it's a good look for you!" I feel vaguely like an asshole.
i can beat that, me and my ex 'lissa where downtown indy both dressed real nice she looked AMAZING, anyway this bum comes up to us and says something i think he's asking for money SOOO i say i paid with my card. NOW what he actually said is "i just want to say you are the luckiest man in indiana". SO basicly i called her a whore.
I imagine they are used to questions like that Amanda. You didn't say anything bad, you were trying to compliment him... There is an albino who was in my kid's soccer league a couple of years ago...he has a black family, so he kind of stood out.

Thats really wild. If they are a black albino, does the sun affect them like it would a white person? (aka lobster me)
A black albino has white skin and blonde/white hair and light eyes. So yeah, I guess the sun affects them the same as it affects white albinos.
Black albino's are albino. They look albino. They just have black parents and such. They still have a medical condition where they do not have melanin (skin pigment). Black is more a social distinction. If a German person is an albino they are still German. If a black person is albino, they are still black.
I don't think that was bad at all... I've accidently said worse and have had worse said to me.. So don't feel to bad, it didn't sound mean at all...
Yeah I think I knew the answer to my quesiton, but I have a need to clarify and ask questions even if they are obvious
