Well, hello there guys i have reached a stalmate, and need some advice on the next move i should make in this macrocosmic game of chess we call life. Now, there are two things ive really wanted to do. serve in the americorp, a domestic peace corp which i would serve for 10 months and get a $4,000 education voucher, and hitchike, go to austin, this years rainbow gathering and wherever else fate takes me. My only problem is deciding which to do first. Unfortunatly, the final deadline for this year's cycle of service is on july 15. I may still try to apply, but also want to hit the road asap. Ive waited long enough, and fear that if i dont take this opprotunity to travel, i may never see it again until im 20. But at the same time, if i do decide to travel and apply for next year's service round, i wont finish my service till im 20. so what should i do? if i do end up waiting, i plan on getting a decent entry level job wherever i can, even tho i only have a hs diploma. But your advice would be appreciated. when it comes to "career" i just want a honest living, eventually i want to get enough money to start up a farm/commune and live simply. It would also be cool to live in a cheap house in a liberal city while saving for the farm. thanks peace
