How a communist regime should work

How should a communist regime work? How should it be and go?

Hear me out first. The issue is equality, you see. Thus making the real issue an economical one concerning capitalism. It is the problem. First we need to abolish cash money. Then we need a national debit card system so communism can work. I think everyone of a voluntary working class should get equal pay, no matter if they're working part time or full time, off of the total North America makes. We'd need a federal income tax that would take all as-you-go and leave all with equal income on their pay check in the outcome to a special direct deposit account set up at the banks. This would eliminate their being a upper class, a middle class, and a lower class. More ppl would want to work part time, thus leaving open more part time job opportunities for more ppl who want to work for equal pay. Thus making even more new jobs. Now all we have to do with get rid of illegal immigants and a big new job market will be here in North America.

The incentive to work harder is there! Ppl will get pay raises based on how hard North America works in whole. Everyone working would be helping each other make the most they can make. Outsourcing wouldnt be a problem anymore. In fact, that would bring in more income for the ppl. I think those that want to help ppl like doctors do would still want to become like doctors. And would. Plus, ppl would still go get higher ed to become what they truely desire being in their hearts. PPl would still be working hard, education wise, to be what they truely want to be. There arent enough jobs in the first place for everyone so some ppl would still take what they "can" as usual. Yes, such as garbage man positions and etc. just so they will have a job period to make that equal pay.

 

Communism doesn't work. It never has worked, and it was never intended to work. Those who have a relatively average understanding of history know this. It's an artificial system that was created by the big banks, just like capitalism

 

What about it wouldnt work? I say it can work.

Communism won't work on a large scale until morals change on a large scale. when people value there neighbors well being over there coffers, communism will work.

I forget what all the people were supposed to do. Was is easier than quitting smoking? Was it easier than not hitting wives? Was it easier than not cheating on wives?

I'll bet that if we all did that stuff in the OP, communism would probably work.

To me, an elite regime in power automatically makes it not communism. If EVERYBODY was living as equals, and were, from the goodness of their hearts sharing out of love, then it would work.
But that doesn't happen. Greed takes over, a few select people take power and take over and create a brutal empire of fear.

Don't you all think we should change the world or not? How can someone see the thrught is there is noone who can tell the thrught or those who can (like us ) don't want to tell it, we are beeing to pesimist. WE should do something not just look at the world chrashing whan we can see that it is chrashing, that's why I startet the thing aboth the hippie country to do something. I my view people don't belive in what they can't see so we should show them to see. WE could hermonise easyer than other people or I think we could, so we should start that country. Or we can whach the world chraching and going down and see OUR childrens sufer, it's up to US PEOPLE DON'T YOU SEE?

Communism unfortunitly rarely works because not everyone has the same view as we do about equality and so it usually goes straight to dictatorship.

look at the russian revolution though they overthrew the czar, but lenin died and stalin took over and made it a dictatorship.

Communism can only work if every single person has the same view which doesnt happen.

every single argument ive heard about communism not working, is complete shit.

"Humans are flawed, human nature forbids it"- THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS HUMAN NATURE. there is only the relation between humans and material objects. THATS IT. "human nature" is whatever you make it.

"everyone wont have the same view" - EXACTLY thats the whole point. think for a second. if people had different views, would money complicate things? would competition complicate things? would social biases create problems? the answer is yes. communism would see to abolish all these things, thus people in a communist society with different views, would need to be at eachother's throats.

"communism can only work on small scales"- WRONG, Communism, a stateless, classless, money less society, can ONLY work on a global scale. if capitalism still exists in the rest of the world, and "communsim" in a small part of the world, then the "communist society" would collapse. this is because its in capitalism's nature to exploit everything it can, thus the commie society wouldnt have much support outside its small scale and wouldnt be able to grow.

"communism always ends up with a dictatorship"- wrong, the authoritarian socialist/ state capitalist regimes (soviet union, cuba, china) is not communism. communism is the gradual product of a revolution. these regimes, were claiming to be upholding the dictatorship of the prolietariat, but instead they merely became capitalist figure heads. is ths a problem with theory? no, its a problem with context. none of these revolutions took place in advanced capitalist societies, only what was almost fuedalist peasant land.

"people with money, wouldnt want to give up the money, the lazy fucks wont wanna do their part"- 1st part, exactly right, the very reason for a revolution is to ABOLISH those who have money. so when those people are abolished, the workers can get of rid of money, because its oppressive and not needed. as for people being lazy, in a communist society, people would only need to work about 2-4 hours a day. and your work ist your lifes necesity, you get your products freely, saying that people are too lazy is pessimistic.

"communism never has worked"- Primitive Communism, Spanish Catalonia 1930s, yugoslavia (good enough for authoritarian socialism), and the Paris Commune. look those up and tell me socialism has never worked. socialism/ communism is the only logical way for human beings to organize. and it will be the way we are organized, when the revolution occurs, and when the global economy collapses.

 

I bet Karl Marx is stabbing himself in the his grave, don't get me wrong I do think communism is great idea, but I just seems hard to produce.

If you're not willing to talk about power you're not serious. Socialism means workers power. You can't take power on behalf of the workers and institute socialism from the top down. Communism flows from socialism, that is, from the self emancipation of the working class. It's silly to construct a blueprint of the future communist society when there is so much work to be done now. This is middle class daydreaming in the fashion of the Owenites and other utopians. Truth be told, we cannot possibly comprehend what lies in wait for our species when our full potential is unlocked.

 

Wow....now this is true idealism. I have to say I strongly disagree with everything that was stated in there. So you're saying that If I have a degree I should still be making the same amount as a garbage man? No way! It's not about being greedy either. It's about working hard to live comfortably which everyone has the opportunity to do. How can you possibly view a bigger more intrusive government as being a good thing?

 

I wouldn't argue for everyone being paid equally and neither did Marx. The way that exploitation works in capitalism is you are never actually paid the full value of your labor but instead are paid for your labor power. What this means is you are effectively rented for a given period of time but the labor you perform in that time belongs to the boss. This is where profit comes from. In socialism you would be paid the full value of your labor. Because human beings possess a wide range of talents and abilities this amount is going to vary. Full equality doesn't exist at this stage of the game, only equal rights to the wealth of society. Production is controlled democratically through workers councils and the centralized state is created through assemblies of directly elected workers councils which are simultaneously legislative and executive in their powers. You can't skip over socialism straight to a cashless communist society. Lacking a crystal ball I can't tell you how many generations it will take to transition from one to the other but I can tell you that there is practical work to be done in order to break down the barriers and limitations created through capitalism.
