Not the wisest move as a mother. It's one thing taking your own trip, but not cool to force on to someone else, especially a baby.
Yeah, not to be rude, but that's dumb. Just friggin wait six months or whatever until you stop and even then I wouldn't consider it the most responsible thing in the world.

You know its ppl like you that make me so fucking mad because i CAN'T have kidsand you are one stupid mother to even attempt to do such a thing. i would do anything to have a precious baby and there you are doing lsd and whatever else your doing. I hope one day that child really views how you really need to be loved if your not only using and abusing your body but a precious innocent bella!! Consider parenting classes and help for your self and seek medical attention for your baby!!!
First of all, I'm not going to call you names, but I am going to reiterate just how irresponsible it can be to introduce your baby to anything psychotropic, even in tiny doses. We breastfeed to give our children the best beginning possible. To endanger them in such a way, just to have a temporary trip is not worth it. That said, if you MUST use LSD, have plenty of expressed milk available to give your babysitter. Never trip around your children. Pump and dump for at least 24 hours. But even then, I'd never do it. LSD just doesn't hold the same appeal to most mothers after children come.

I don't know why I'm saying this, but it seems related in some way, kinda. Back in the day (o about 10 years ago) I dated this guy while I was treeplanting and we became a couple (he had hardcore hippy lineage like me) but the weird thing was one day he told me how his Mom gave birth to him while she was tripping on LSD. He was all starry eyed and proud, I was like --whoaa. I tried not to judge it, but how can you not? Me being a Woman. I wasn't even a Mom then, nor was I a nurse yet, but instinctively I KNEW IT WAS WRONG. I wouldn't ever... Sometimes these things happen. It's messed up. I've known lots of parents that have kids and they've eaten psychedelics. I agree with the pump and dump and have the reserve handy, that's sound advice. I also agree about NOT TRIPPING AROUND THE KIDS. It freaks them out. Personally, just having a baby and nursing it was enough of a joy trip for me.
Personally, I'd think it was extremely irresponsible, not to mention selfish, as a mother to do any type of drugs while pregnant or nursing. But that's just my opinion. I figure, better safe than sorry, right? I would think your child's safety would be more important.
EXTREMELY irresponsible and selfish, it's putting your pleasure before your child's safety. Everything could be perfectly fine, of course, but there's that if, that should be more than enough to not do it. The way I see it, people who do that are being a bad parent before their baby is even born. I just dont understan how anyone can care more about a beer, a joint, a cig or whatever, than making sure their baby is as healthy as it can be. It really makes me sad to think about it, because there are so many parents that put their desires over their baby's needs.
