Example: X: The beatles Vs. Chris isaac Y: The beatles Vs. Thr rolling stones Z: The rolling stones Vs. Mika got it? I'll start: Rainbow Vs. DIO
Too hard.. Band vs. band games are impossible for me anyway. As for Rainbow vs. Dio: they both made some shitty albums. Only album of Dio that can compare to Rainbow's albums is Holy diver. But then again, those Rainbow albums who are as good as Dio's Holy diver are all partly written by Dio, haha.
Dio vs Rainbow... I say Rainbow easily.... The 2 First Rainbow are nearly classic album...then from 78 to 82 the band made respectable albums...with 3-4 good songs in it... Just the last one of 83 is plastic shit... For Dio... Clearly i'm not a fan of hard rock after 82 (with some exceptions) so only the First 'Holy Diver' has impressive moments... then the 2nd and the others became cliché of hard rock lyrics and lacks of the poetic elements that was the force of the 70s Dio... What we're supposed to do then...? choose another fight?
after a short reflection... with the 2 album into the sabbath...dio reached on both albums the classic status... Ozzy has recorded some interesting albums but from my point of vue just his 2nd "diary of a madman" can be considered as a classic... so i say 3:2 for mr wide ego aka Dios
I agree, most people seem to like No more tears a lot too, but I prefer Diary of a madman. I think Blizzard of Ozz is pretty good as well though. Mob rules is ok, and Heaven & hell is pretty good as well too. I'd say it's a draw So what about the Yardbirds vs. Led Zeppelin? :cheers2:
Too different, I don't come further then a draw. They're both very good in their own thing(s) but they're both not among my favourites.
