I decided to try a little backcombing on the front of my hair. I used relatively small sections, my hair is about 2.5 inches long. I was wondering if I should continue with the rest of my head. There knotted up good at the base but the ends aren't really knotting up at all. I know what I do will probably come out but I wanna jumpstart the whole process..Any tips?...and whether or not I should proceed...(also I know about bronners, salt water etc..ive been using both)

I washed today and they came out anyway, so I guess I'll just chill for now. Is it a good idea to just backcomb my whole head into one big mess and let it go on its own?(rem my hair is short right now)

By washing with natural soap your hair will separate itself pretty fast so yea it will give them a little kick in the beggining if you just backcomb all your hair without separating them and putting rubber bands everywhere. I think it's all good personally.

i didnt backcomb just let it happen played with it alot basicly started with just a couple inches..

what did u wash with and how tight did u backcomb
    ?

just wear a wool hat n play with it alot

do salt spritses..wash with somethin non residue ..check in a month for any knottiness..
when it starts gettin knotty just kinda keep sections from growin together too much..
