I don't post much here anymore because of the vile, nasty, hatred which exists here. However, I found this story which may inspire the artists out there. Take notice of what she says about politics.

As an artist of sorts myself, I've never had any inspiration to do anything for the troops.

Quite frankly, anything you feed this beast will only help it live longer.

Love the troops by bringing them HOME.

    Where they belong.

What?..You can't bring the troops home, they have all this ammo and bombs and they can't use it on home turf. We have countries to bomb and people to kill. And they are our tools for it. And what happens if and when we bring them home, we'll have all this money and what will we do with it, pay the national debt, help the poor....what are you crazy? of course not. We build more nuclear weapons to destroy our world while trying to take it over. It, of course, will then become a dictatorship.

I don't get involved too much in that kind of thing, as he DID choose to join the military.

If you really support the troops, then provide full GI Bill, and full VA health , and tell congress to stop "stop loss", the practice whereby soldiers can't opt out at the end of their contracts.
