Ive never really liked Bjork or was ever interested enough to look into her music, but this has become one of my favorite albums as of late- probably the most original sounding music I've come across in years. All the songs on the album were (supposedly) done with the human voice instead of instruments. Any comments?

that's what my friend says, that it's all voice voice. except the guy doing beatbox, some of that stuff has been looped using a computer - i think that's legit though because if he had to beatbox through a whole song he'd be out of breath. also aren't there like, computer/keyboard beeps in the songs? thats not human voice.

you sure? i haven't heard the entire album yet but i know the man behind the beatbox is rahzel of the roots. he's known as the human beatbox and is also known to both beatbox and sing. let me just say the man has lungs and i would not be surprised to find that there was no looping involved. check out his album "make the music 2000" it does encorporate djing and sampling but there are some live tracks of him on it, and i garauntee it will blow your mind especially the "if your mother only knew" track.
