What is a sitter?

Trip Sitter?

 

A trip sitter is somone who hangs out with a person while there on drugs. They make sure everything is going alright, keep them calm, reassure them, and just be a freind.

 

haha if u need a "Trip sitter" while smoking weed, u shouldnt be smokign at all.

a trip in teh context wherever youve heard trip sitter would mean a psychadelic trip

Yeah, pretty much someone to reasure you and make sure you dont stand up and do something dumb.

 

I heard some kids talking about lsd at school and one of the kids mentioned "that he was going to have a sitter" and I never heard the term before.
