I am currently on Yaz birth control... I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to skip your period while on this pill? I took Yasmine before this, and my doctor told me it was perfectly fine to skip a period once in a while by not taking the last row of inactive pills and just starting a new pack during that week. I'm not sure if this applies for Yaz since only half of the last row is inactive... does anyone have any information about this? I am sexually active and am trying to prevent pregnancy for the time being, so any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I would suggest you call your doctor, or your pharmacist and ask him, or check out the webpage for your pill, considering almost all pills have there own site.
