Hey, just curious. What does everyone use at home when listening to music? Me, I use my baby. A Yamaha TSX-10. It may not look like much, but this stereo has absolutely incredable sound. Its in my dorm, right above my bed. I love it! What does everyone else have? TSX-10
Hey like that picture with the bunny and pancake! bunnies are so cute! Annoying to take care of though! ANYWAYS whats TSX-10 or whatever? A a stero - but why does it have a weird name like that? Sounds all high tech! I think. And i didnt know Yamaha made music stuff. I thought they just made jet skis and all! Well I just listen to the music I get on this laptop and on my '3 cd changer' stero...it sucks though! It never changes the cd right anymore! And I have a remote for it but I always loose it. I want a new stero. but Anyways, I wanted to the whole mp3 player thing...but i dont know to do it. I only know how to burn cds! Ah whatever! My mom used to have a record player...but she sold it! She had tons of ol' records! I think she wants a jukebox instead thats why!
If I'm home, I always listen to my computer. It has some pretty good Altec Lansing speakers. If I'm anywhere else, I listen to my ipod. BTW, I highly recommend an ipod to anyone considering buying one.
I always listen to it on my stereo...I got one about 2 years ago. I should get a new one but I can't find any that hold 60 cd's.
i have a simple walkman at home that i carry around with me wherever i go!! lol. I also have a cd player/radio in my room. We also have a turntable ( which is great fun) that i use all the time and we have, what is basically, a family cd player in the living room There is music everywhere in my house!!!! lol peace and love xxxx
Whell my stereo broke down...so now I listen with my dvd player...good sound coming out of that dvd player too. The neighbours think so too hehe
at home i have a philips (i think) 3-CD mini system which is pretty nice. here i listen to music either on my suitcase record/CD player or on my computer. portable i just have a cd-walkman. i never use mp3s because... i don't download them and i'll just buy the CD if i want the songs.
When I'm at home, during the day, I use my Yamaha surround sound system that I have in my room. It has a nice receiver, a 5-CD changer, and a turntable, coupled with 5 speakers and a nice sized subwoofer. It sounds really good. At night, however, I usually listen to my MP3 player so that I don't wake anyone up.
my computer !!!! my good ole computer.... its hooked to my sound system.. got a nad preamp and onkyo power amp.... got 2 warfdale and 2 tannoy speakers... my nad amp is pretty prehistoric... its got valves and shit.. hehehhe its my dads actually which was passed down to me after he upgraded....
My parents old record player witha taped on needle, a sony cd/tape player, and a sony casstte player walkman...
ive got so much music on my computer. all the beatles, pink floyd, jimi hendrix, the doors...it kind of goes on my stereo is hooked up to my computer since these small speakers suck so its a lot better and then theres a record player for my records i collect connected to the stereo.
Umm, okay, nobody laugh at me... (WHAT IS AN MP3 PLAYER???) and what's a subwoofer? I listen to my cds on my... CD player. And it has a tape deck too for my albums on tape.... and I listen to, you know, a radio. Wow, I feel so technology-stupid. :&
I have an RCA stereo that I bought used off of Amazon several years ago, which has AM/FM radio, a tape player, and a five CD-changer. I use this whenever I want to listen to music in my room, unless I'm doing homework (in that case, I use a portable CD player). If I'm listening to the music at night or if no one wants noise at a particular moment, I plug headphones into the stereo. So at home, the stereo is mostly what I use. The pair of headphones I'm using now were ones that I received on Christmas last year, and they are incredibly nice, with a deep, detailed sound.
An MP3 Player is a small device with an LCD screen that allows you to listen to music in a way that you would on a computer. You can take a CD, put it in your computer, rip the tracks off of it into MP3 format, and put those tracks onto the MP3 Player. For example, I have all of my CDs on my MP3 player. I can take my entire collection around with me in one, small electronic device. It's pretty nifty. A subwoofer (or simply put, "sub") is a large "box" that plugs into a receiver or amplifier and produces bass for sound systems. Heh, don't...
I listen to all my music on my Nomad Jukebox C. 6 gigabytes of music goodness I use this with my Stanton Dynaphase 40 DJ headphones, very high quality sound.
I carved a stereo out of a piece of wood, and it has a 5 cd changer too. The speakers were hard, because of all those little holes I had to make.
