USA entrance into Iraq is all about funding defense contractors??? What a non thinking person. Soo,,what about the FACT that the tourists were associating with Iraq as a base of training before 911? Oh,,I see that FACT doesnt matter to you.
Okay,,how about the notion that USA did not take out Sadam and then new attacks on USA soil killing more Americans because of Sadam continued support of terrorism.....I can only image it would be people like u stating that the USA was wrong for not taking out Sadam.

There really is no better place to live than the U.S.A. If you don't like it leave. Better yet I wish someone would kick your ass, then throw you out of the country. I'm sure the government is probably corrupt, but hey what isn't? As for Saddam I don't think we should have attacked Iraq. If Saddam had to kill a few thousand people to keep those barbaric people in line so be it. Any way since we did attack Iraq I support that too. I only think we should have just blown up the place.

^ I'm not quite sure if that was a serious post or not, so I'll address it like it was.

There are many better places in the world to live than the US, they provide much better care to their citizens and grant a lot more freedoms. But saying that, there is also dozens and dozens of countries much worse to live in than US.

I've never been accused of being a non-thinking person, lol.

Did you follow the events leading up to the Iraqi war?

The perpetrators of 911 were led by Bin Laden who's from Saudi Arabia, not Iraq. The only plane allowed in the sky after 911 carried Bin Laden's family back to Saudi Arabia, 'seems kinda suspicious, don't you think? Bin Laden then fled to Afghanistan, which is where the "real" war on terror is being fought. Note that his name isn't even mentioned anymore.

911 proved to be a boon for bush, whos ratings were in the toilet at the time. It gave Bush and Cheney the opportunity of a lifetime to use terrorism as an excuse for bush to try to finish what his daddy started with Saddam Hussein. Only his daddy was smarter, 'cause he knew we couldn't win. And the funny thing about Saddam is we trained him in the ways of war, but it back fired on us.

And sure, I won't argue Saddam was an evil man, but Iraq was doing OK before we got there. Now they don't have the basic things we take for granted like electricity, running water, and being able to walk the streets at night without getting bombed and shot at. No wonder they're pissed at us.

Bush used terrorism as an excuse to fight a personal war his daddy started with Saddam Hussein. Now we've got Saddam, but things are worse than ever in Iraq, and it's costing us billions, yet somehow we don't seem to have the money for things like schools and medicare.

Weapons of mass destruction proved to be weapons of mass distraction, or weapons of mass deception, depending on how look at it. Bush and Cheney lied to justify a preemptive strike, and people are dying for no reason as a result. They need to be impeached and arrested for war crimes.

I love the USA. Otherwise I'd leave. I served my country in the military for eight years. Bush and Cheney have got to go...

If the care is so great why are Canadians flocking to the U.S. for healthcare?

...and the whole time we've been in Iraq they've been swearing up and down it's not about the oil, it's about ending terrorism and spreading democracy. Oh wait, now the big oil companies are trying to figure out how they're gonna divvy up the Iraqi oil fields. If they do it right, maybe it'll be a done deal before bush leaves office.

I dunno about you, but I feel a hell of a lot less safe from terrorism than I did before bush took office.

Clinton was no saint either, but at least we weren't involved in an endless war, we had a budget surplus, and the economy wasn't in the toilet.

I don't remember saying that Canada was better than US, maybe you can paste it to me. But in my town that I live in that is along the river with America, half the town is Americans who came here for the health care.

I love the U.S. and I think whoever does not should try and live in any other country for some time. OK, this is not a perfect country but which one is it?
We do have many issues and war is not the answer, but we have freedom of speech and women do not go around covering their faces!! U.S. rocks!!

    Peace and Love!

^^This terrifies me. Children who think they would have enough time to sit and enjoy the pretty birdies if everyone stopped going to work.

Actually, no... life would be infinitely more miserable. You'd have to work all the time, and if you didn't, you would die... and you wouldn't be able to go to school for free for six hours and sit there stoned out of your brain while someone tries to tell you something that's really important even though they know you don't give a shit about it.

I agree, the war bled into Iraq from Afghanistan, which is now the forgotten war of our time, and if we were really focusing on threats we'd be in Iran.

As far as your last post though, Iraq was in disarray, some of their systems and things were working, yes, but there were civil wars and the like, not to mention within the two weeks before going to war we received news that Saddam was sending people into wood chippers feet first to listen to them scream....

I love America, but I do hate Bush's policies.

    That's why I'm a Libertarian :)

    Thank you.
Oh God, I know too many kids who really think that.

They also live off Tums and steal from their parents house (being, they live either in it, or in the backyard).
Oh, and their parents have jobs.

There is something there. I agree, many of the conspiracy theorists (and i'm aiming at the ppl behind loose change here) are so much up there assholes about making their voice heard that many other voices won't be heard. If many people want to see other (non-theory) films about corruption/blood thirsty politicians, they should see other films like hacking democracy, or the hunt for osama bin laden. There! they are the films that are more trust worthy for people wanting to get angry at real facts about the gov't!

P.S DON'T TRUST THE GOVERNMENT, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU! :cheers2:

Agreed. Have you heard about in Sweden that they are legislating a new law called the FRA law. This states that the government can listen to all telecommunications that passes within its borders. I live there, and it despises me that Sweden of all nations will sink to USA's level of suspicion among its own citizens.

The government reflects the will of the people, so to some extent we are responsible for the mess we're in, and until we own up to that responsibility by collectively making some major life style sacrifices, our government will not change. Bush, Cheney, and the rest of those assholes are in power because we put them there. Big Oil is powerful because oil is the center of our culture, and oil's still cheaper in the US than it is in most of the world. Sure the mortgage meltdown was partly caused by predatory lending practices, but it was also caused by our "buy now, pay later" mentality.

If we can ween ourselves off credit and reduce our consumption of energy, while simultaneously pursuing greener alternatives (by driving less, riding our bikes more, turning stuff off when we're not using it, installing solar panels, etc.), our government will eventually change to reflect this.

If you don't like outsourcing, don't buy stuff that's made in China.

We don't need to be a nation of Lemmings.
