Me? Reading "Dragon"? Well, I've decided to start airbrushing motorcycles, and a lot of folks dig skulls, wizards, and other D&D motifs. So when I saw the local 2nd hand bookstore were selling off old Dragon mags for a quarter each, I grabbed a handful. What a hoot. The letters forum was the best. "Are we gamers a dying breed?" And here's me thinking "by definition, any creature that does not procreate will go extinct, yes."
lol.... that's awesome! Ahhh, I love nerds. I used to play a theif/rogue type char back when I played D&D, so terribly classy
Ah? I don't actually remember playing D&D. I think I did a couple of times in the early 80s, I mean everyone did. I used to have a good laugh at the minmaxers though. One bloke rolled a perfect 00 for his psionics check and pissed off the class DM, who suddenly had a much more powerful character on his hands than originally anticipated... The only thing lamer than D&D nerds are these goddamn Vampire folks. "I am Lord Azarothe Blackstone, clan elder of Clan Ravenclaw" or whatever and I'm like "whatever, Melvin, nice cape. Although not sure if pinning a towel around your neck quite works with your glow in the dark fangs... (with thanks to Voltaire, who I can't stand)
