if i didnt sit where i did, right in the line before i could write a check on the floor... i sat myself down but it was at like the last second... i would have fainted and hit my head if i didnt sit then. they had to roll my chair into the air conditioned office. it was so weird.
btw people are often surprized when they are with me and see a FULL BLOWN PANIC ATTACK... they often after that, start calling what they used to call panic attacks, anxiety. seriously. wow. i never had one quite like that though...that's part of why i keep saying its so weird.... i wonder if i have a fever. i bought a thermomathur a month or so ago. =D (and yeah full blown panic attacks... that's why my benzo use has never been about getting fucked up but avoiding them but i hate those thigns now and i hate how i only get one a day and i took it at the store (a half of one that is)... ill be OFF of them, fri.- i hope without too much pain.
So was it like you started to feel weird and then a few seconds later you started panicking? I know how it is because I used to get panic attacks from time to time when I was younger. Sometimes if you're not feeling well and you have a panic attack, it can exacerbate the symptoms you already have. The fact that you have a cold and haven't been eating could have combined with the panic attack, causing it to feel different than other panic attacks. That's what I am thinking.
It sounds like blood pressure to me, too. Glad you didn't pass out and bounce your head off some pavement. That happened to me before, and I was slightly concussed.
HIGH blood pressure??? god, i hope not. i was thinking the beta blocker seemed to be helping. my heart rate went down and i could breathe easier. anyways um here is some more info. i posted it on messenger but thought it might give some info here. all i deleted was that i got fucked up one night and FELT it the next day and then this is when this all started.... then i started getting really really really tired sleep 17 hours straight and feel like i didnt sleep at all kinda felt like iw as getting a cold and now i feel like i have a fever so weak i can barely move my ears hurt so bad its fucking terrible the past coupel days have been hell
Matt, I hope you are right about things. I'm heading down to talk to my neighbor for a little bit. I'll be back.. I hope.
okay i waited too long...scott's sleeping i guess. i left him a msg. to ring my doorbell if he's up. haha. anyways im gonna add some stuff here cause i figured since i wrote all this stuff in this thread id come back here n write stuff down for the doctors then so notes kinda but i still wanna hear opinions if anyone has one... anyways, it almost felt seizure like in a way.... like when they told me lift my legs so they could wheel in my chair, sooo hard to do.... i had zero coordination- woulda fallen if i woulda walked..... ive been tested for like EVERYTHING THOUGH. they've probably taken like 40 viles of blood from me in the past couple months and come back with NOTHING. oh and one more thing... i had a ringing in my ears and then my ears hurt like hell.
the more reading i do....anyways found this interesting... Some medicines used to treat high blood pressure and heart disease can make it more likely that a person will develop orthostatic hypotension. These medicines include: Diuretics Calcium channel blockers Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors Angiotensin II receptor blockers Nitrates Beta blockers Finally, other events or conditions that can contribute to orthostatic hypotension include: Being out in the heat for a long time Having to stay in bed for a long time because of a medical condition Heat exhaustion – this is a serious condition that can develop into heat stroke. It occurs when excessive sweating in a hot environment reduces the blood volume. Warning signs may include paleness and sweating, rapid heart rate, muscle cramps (usually in the abdomen, arms or legs), headache, nausea and vomiting, dizziness or fainting. Heat stroke – this is a medical emergency and requires urgent attention. Heat stroke occurs when the core body temperature rises above 40.5C and the body’s internal systems start to shut down. Many organs in the body suffer tissue damage and the body temperature must be reduced quickly. Most people will have profound central nervous system changes such as delirium, coma and seizures. As well as effects on the nervous system, there can be liver, kidney, muscle and heart damage.
I know how you feel. My panic disorder has gottenbad again and I am having extreme mood swings. My period was almost 2 weeks late from stressing out. The funny thing is I have noting to stress out about. My life is perfect. I just have been dealing with so much guilt from my past. I can't handle it anymore. I broke down and made a doctor's appoitment for tommorow to go back on benzos. I have gone a month now without them (besides the one my dentist gave me as a sedative before my appoitment). I just can't deal anymore. I breifly thought about killing myself last night. It scared me.
gosh.. I'm really sorry to hear you're so sick.. I hope it's not too serious.. you know, I've had such episodes before. I have hypoglycemia, and in the summer, in the heat, it happens a lot..
im really looking into whether taking a beta blocker the past couple weeks had anything to do with this.... it can...
