yeah, so most of my backcombing fell out. i was kind of expecting it so i'm just like "meh". i still havent brushed my hair for almost a month though. if i just keep not brushing my hair will they form into dreads? and also, when my friend was backcombing she didnt want to finish so i just had her put the loose hair in braids to keep them sectioned and out of my face and they've been in for almost a month cause she never finished the backcombing them and i was wondering what'll happen if i just never take them out?
Back combed dreads often fall out and reform themselves naturally. Yes they will eventually become dreads if you just stop combing and brushing, as long as you are using a residue free shampoo (i suggest dr. bronners). And i hear that braids will eventually turn to dreads. But, thats just what i hear, i dont believe i have actually seen it though.
Braids turn into dreads that always kinda look like braids, I think they are beautiful though, my friend has it.
