Al Jazeera has come a long way.

Most Americans only heard of it as an "Islamic" website. That tainted it right there in American opinion.

Today's Al Jazeera is the envy of CNN. They have reporters all over the world. Many independent reporters from a dozen different countries are also part of that team. This includes numerous American reporters.

Is it biased? All news is to some degree, but the more options you have for input, hopefully the more intelligent decisions you'll make regarding what you hear. I scour the world. Every single day.

We live in an age where putting all your news eggs in one basket is not such a good idea. Those who need your vote for whatever reason will attempt to make sure you have as few news choices as they can.

Oh, they'll give you 200 channels of cable TV, but its still mostly a handful of corporations that bring it to you. Most of these corporations are just fingers on the same glove.

If you want to know about it and the accepted rationales behind it, it is not a difficult thing to look into.
Questions about it, are valid.

Well, that is where you are wrong IMO.
Globalisation is not about the integration of economies, it is about cooperation between global markets.
It won't end world wars because political landscapes can falter and alter in a blink of an eye.
Hence some people still thinking about the connection between the US and Iraq or China, heck even Iran...and the hypocritical nature of these relationships.

We can be thankful of that.
