its your life and you can't always make everyone happy...everyone dies at some point. yea, some may be sad. some may not even give a rats ass. its your decision whether you will allow those outside forces to influence you. it can be incredibly selfish, it might not be. i don't see anything wrong with it on a very basic level....more advanced stuff makes it a much more complicated issue...
life has trials and tribulations, getting caught in a momentary trial is a tragic waste and it would devastate the many people that care about you, even if you are unable to see how many do in a moment of darkness I knew a guy who jumped off a parking garage, one who did the car exhaust thing, some who have ODed etc. Seen some good ones gone that way actually
Depends on what the motivation is for doing yourself in. You have some terminal medical condition...I don't see a problem with being able to choose your time. I'd like to have that option as opposed to living the rest of my life in extreme pain or just fading away. If the motivation is "I'm on dope, people don't understand me and I'm sad"...well, those are temporary factors. Be proactive and do something to change your circumstances or your point of view. No need to kill yourself.
but what if the person who kills himself was going to kill 1000 poor people, but couldn't because he's now dead?
Well, I wonder if the guy offed himself already. Might as well make a youtube video of it if you're gonna do it.
being a heroin addict in your 20's or beyond could easily lead to suicide, mixing that drugs power with a teen, well i wouldn't be surprised
Yeah, he probably wrote out a long letter blaming everyone else for his problems. But yeah... the whole heroin thing makes it a tad more serious than just teenage depression.
What's so wrong about suicide for me, personally, is this: My family. My mom and my sister mean more than anything else to me. I would take a bullet for either. Seeing as I have no dad and no extended family, they're all I've got. They both need me, and I need both of them. I've pondered suicide many times and never went through with it because of them. I slit my wrists once and I regret it every day. I think that there is nothing inherently wrong with suicide, I just think it depends on the person and what is personally wrong for them.
We had a guy out here that went through some issues and well he took a shotgun to the face and sadly or gladly he lived. He sure dont look the same and will never live a solid quality of life. Suicide in some cases should be allowed. I mean if your dying of cancer ect and are in extreme pain and your last time is going to be horrible why should we stop this person from going out in comfort? I figure we are allowed to put animals down that are suffering in an effort to be "Humane" yet we dont offer this same level of dignity to humans.
nah, diddnt off myself. actually working on figuring out a way to fix the shit im in....no luck though
i am happy that you are trying to figure things out. It may take away before you can fix it, but I know you will. (at least i hope you will )
