Once upon a time, I was transporting 2 pounds of marijuana and got pulled over in a routine traffic stop. The police officer got to the typical swine talk "do you got anything in the vehicle?". I said no, you can't search it. So he decides that he is going to call up another police officer with a K9 unit.. The dog sniffs the car and the chronic is retrieved. I took all the blame for it and spent 18 months in jail. It's been 2 months since I was released and I've done a lot to get back to the way things were. But the dealer who I was transporting the pot for has been sending me death threats and all sorts of things.. I'm not really sure what I should do about it. I'd like not to have to use violence. The guy is a little loopy (people say he is skitso, I don't know though).. Even though I paid him for it eventually and kept him from even being thought of by the police, I've been getting death threats from him and his "dudes". Someone broke into my house last week while no one was home, I don't know if it was him or not but the window was busted out and things scattered all over, but nothing stolen that I know of.. What should I do about this
A lot of stuff can be solved over the internet, but I don't think this is one of them. I doubt that many of the people on this site have ever dealt with anything similar to this so their advice would really be just speculation. Talk to your friends, get a gun, hell, you could even move.
I think we've all seen weeds. Go to a mexican gang and offer then 50% of your earning in order for them to protect you. I kid. That shit didnt work out. id probably go to the cops or spend some money on some trained attack dogs.
yeah dude all I can think of is getting a gun if you want to deal with it yourself. Otherwise I would say tell the cops, but that might just make them go through with whatever threats they're making.
If you can prove who the death threats are from, show the cops. Or you can install video cameras so you know who is breaking in, have proof of it, and a gun would be a good thing to have around.
In the op he said that the guy has a group of people threatening him. I would think twice about narcing in such a situation if you aren't guaranteed protection, because if one of the posse managed to beat the rap they'd try and kill him for real.
My question is, if you paid him off when you got out, why would he still be after you? Then why didn't he do anything to you or speak of it when you did in fact pay him off? Story isn't adding up? iggy:
do you live in texas? you can shoot them if they come on your property and get away with it http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/06/30/burglary.shooting.ap/index.html
hmm you only got 18 months for 2 pound of weed? AND you paid him and DIDNT narc on him? Yet hes still mad. Im guessing theres more to this story that would make me want to be on the dealers side....
