Is all sea salt created equal?

    I was looking on Amazon.com for sea salt - just scoping out the market. And I found some sea salts that are $2 for 10 lbs and some that are $16 for 20 ounces. There is Brazilian salt, Celtic salt, Dead Sea salt, and generic salt. And a sea salt bath mixture that comes with tea tree and peppermint (ooh ahh).

    Do you think sea salt is just sea salt?
    I mean.. the dead sea is pretty salty. Does that make it the saltiest salt?
    I'm not a chemist...

    Now, i happend to stumble on this website. After i saw it i got really pissed, because i always thought salt was just salt but from different sources. so now i want to try every single salt in the world to see which one i like best.

    As for hair goes... i have no idea, i use regular sea salt. i think mine says its from the mediteranean
