Friends/Age/Weird?

One of my best friends is 51. Another is 20. I'll be 28 in less then a month.
I hang out with them both often and often together....

Is that weird?

Haha... I just really wanna know people's opinions... I think if people are good people and you enjoy being around them, age for a friend doesn't matter.... although it would be weird if my friends were like 12.

 

My bestest of friends span the spectrum. I have em fromthe early twenties to 60 something.

I have friends who are in their 50s and 60s. Friendship shouldn't be based on age, but rather a mutual understanding of things.

I don't care how old people are. I like people for who they are. Age really means nothing to me.
I'm also really bad at guessing people's ages. There may be some connection there?

but someone my age met one of my friends- she's 20 and then she met my friend who's 51 and she told me i was weird cause all her friends are within three years of her age. (got me wondering if a lot of people thought like that)

That's not weird.. Most of the people I associate with or are friends with are older than myself...Though can't say I am friends with anyone younger...But I would be...

 

I've always had friends a good deal older than me and never once really thought about it being weird.

 

Friendship should not be based on age as long as everyone in the boat is above legal. Nothing against the youngsters, but you have more in common with people in and about your age give or take 20 years, to the plus side.

 

Obviously it is weird. It is not common. And I think you know that full well Lucky.

But should it be weird? No. What the fuck,...they're people dude!!! If you and they get along then great.

Though, I'm torn on the cause of this one .... is it nature or nurture?

 

My really good friend is 46, he rules.. .He tells me stories that make me laugh and piss myself...

 

What about younger? This girl was like "I just don't think I'd have anything in common with a fifty or 20 year old" But the thing is... I have LOTS in common with both...

And they both kinda seem my age in a way...haha...meaning the older ppl are really cool for their age...and the younger people don't act super immature and stuff like that, they act older....

I have one friend in his mid twenties and this guy is about as immature acting as they come but he's a riot to hang out with.

 

I think I get along with people in their early 20's cause I refuse to grow up. Haha.

 

I would befriend someone who was younger than I.. I have people I know that are younger, but I don't really hang out with them... But I would...

I'd befriend anyone, anything, human or animal...

 

One of my greatest friends... jeremy... known him for 8 years now... or nine or ten..haha... anyways he's like 38 and he acts like he's younger then me. He's so much fun to be around... when ever our significant others are around me and him together...wow.... let's just say he gets me acting crazy when I'm usually the quiet/funny type.... haha...good times....
