Being high isn't like anything I've experienced at all so it would be hard to compare it to something. However, when I'm high I get really concentrated on things. I get really intense into things (if that makes sense) making things feel better. i.e. If I'm listening to music then I get really into the music and I react to it much better and I can enjoy it much more. This is how I got into art, I really like art when I'm high because good art sets an emotion within you and it feels great when you're high. Even when I think I get really into what I'm thinking about which allows me to be more philosophical.

It effects different people in different ways.

For me, I get that "whoah, what the fuck is happening" feeling every few seconds. I also get completely lost in thought, and when I briefly go back into reality (via that "woah, what the fuck is happening?" feeling) I try to remember what I was just thinking about, but it quickly fades like when you're trying to remember a dream. Then I go back into thought, and the process repeats itself.

I also deconstruct everything I can think of, anything from what people say to different ideologies. If I'm stoned at a party, I'll be staring blankly into the fire, not saying a word, aware of every conversation going on, every feud, and every person, and I'll be completely over analyzing it all. I'll begin to realize that people are like clockwork and are governed by instincts and attributes, and then I begin to make connections, have revelations, and I start to feel fantastic that I know all of the answers.

If anyone I meet wants to know what it's like to be high, I hand them a joint.

When you smoke herb, you activate your cannabinoid receptors, and, they all hit off at once, feeling as if you're "lifted" by an angel.

I wouldn't, though if I were trying to convince someone to try it (which I probably wouldn't do either) I'd settle for saying it feels really good. but it's different for everyone, and it's not for everyone.

I started on a med [SSRI].
    My high changed.
It's feels very strange having a different high.
It's more mild and different, but its better.

    strange.

Sorry to bring up an old topic but..

Visually, everything seems like a movie scene. Does that make sense? Mentally, I over analyze everything, but not in a bad way. I find myself realizing things or noticing things I had never noticed before. Even something as simple as getting a joke in a tv show I hadn't despite the countless times I had seen the episode. Or noticing little parts in a song that I hadn't even known was there before. It is an extreme heightening of the senses. Physically, I feel extremely relaxed/sedated. However, I sometimes notice myself feeling quite the opposite. I'll be twitchy and nervous. Every high is different for me.

Sometimes when I'm high I piece together things in my mind. Like something happens which relates to another thing which relates to another thing.

You cannot explain it... I just tell them its not like any other substance (i.e. alcohol, etc)... but they cannot be told what it is... only way is to see it.
