I may be dating myself, but, has anyone seen this movie for the first time on a psychadelic? I did. It was awesome!
I took a sci-fi class and we did a little essay on Achetypal symbols within the matrix. Clearly, the white rabbit in the begining, always a classic in trying to lure the victim into the collective unconscious. Morpheous, greek god of dreams When neo chooses the pill to free his mind the mirror goes into his mouth and down. Usually meaning a dive very deep into the unconscious(hello, psychedelic mushrooms, ah ha!) Also, when neo awakens he is in some kind of water, resembling life, he then falls again into more water which "IS" the unconscious(literally and metaphorically) I could go on but you see the picture. Psychedelics have been in our cultures for thousands of years, thanks to the shamens.
Wasn't the first time but did see it tripping and it was amazing, also those are damn good comments Scilla:cheers2:
I bought The Matrix on DVD recently with the intention of watching it on psychedelics. I think I'm going to wait a little longer though so I can forget as much as possible before I watch it.
Definitely when your on mescaline you can see and understand the matrix theory. It has happened to me many times and only on mescaline. I need to explore the phenomenon further in future trials. But I have a few stories. The movies are great but I wouldnt waste a trip watching it. I would rather experience. Try just watching the movie then make yourself some mescaline extract to use in the wilderness somewhere during the day. Just make sure no non~trippers spoil the trance magic.
I've never watched it under a psychedelic, im getting 2C-E soon hopefully i should make sure to watch it when im coming down from my dose. I'de love to dose on mescaline and watch it though. I should really look into making some.
Watching the matrix on booms makes you question the world and how reality now could just be a fake matrix like in the movie and we are all seeing this psuedoworld and there is no higher power but the people behind the computers....its kinda scary
