If you brush your teeth 2 times daily...but chew ..say.. Winterfresh gum from the moment after you brush your teeth in the mornings, until bed time, getting a fresh piece every couple of hours, is it possible that the teeth that come in contact with the gum the most, will lose enamel (spelling?) and start to decay?
Absolutely. If your teeth start to show a lot of discoloration, brown marks, very similar to tobacco stains, but usually at the bottom of the teeth, this is where the enamel has worn off. You should at least chew sugarless gum.
