If I was going to be late for an appoitment or had my dogs waiting in the car or something, than no. If I was just feeling impatient, than yes.

I don't mind letting them ahead of me, unless they pay with a check. For some reason, checks annoy the living b-jeebers out of me.

i'm perfectly willing to wait my turn. but frequently people see me there with two little girls tearing each other's hair out and say 'go ahead!'

 

and most of the time i use the self-checkout line...no waiting because most people are too stupid to know how to self-checkout

 

hard to do with a couple inquisitive little girls.

 

I know how to use it just fine. I just hate that I have to check out and bag my own groceries. You should get a few cents off for doing the work yourself. I'm against it on principal.

 

We don't have those "do it yourself" checkouts here, but we do have express checkout lanes...

 

i think they're fun.

 

The problem with express lines is you get people there with more items than allowed and get all heated if they are asked to find another line. Another thing I hate is the people who use the self-checkout lanes that have no clue what they are doing or have 15+ items.

 

Last time i let someone in front of me the bitch was the last motherfucking person in the world who still writes checks. and she didn't start pre writing either. She wrote after the total amount was given. Then she commenced balancing her checkbook in front of me.

 

seriously. check writers are quite annoying. lol... when i opened my newest bank account a couple months ago, the guy asked me if i wanted checks, i was like hell no, they don't go through right away, so they throw me off on keeping my account balanced. he goes "yeah, BOA has the website all set up so things can be balanced easily online, so that when all the old people die or can't see to write checks anymore, we're ready." i about peed my pants, it was so funny.

I sometimes for fun start to use my credit card then halfway through do the evil.... I tell them I want to write a check instead. I write it as if the world depended on being able to read it too.
