Well seems like sometimes this site is just used for complaining so I would like to hear some of your best happy stories.

This summer I went to Dolly Sods WV to backpack with my friends (there was 10 of us). The last night we were there we finally made it to our destination, Lions Head. The whole time I wanted to see the stars more than anything else, and being at the top of the mountain it was a good time to do so. There was another group of college kids camped by us, which at first we didn't really talk to, more like a head nod. Well there was a huge flat rock right by our camp site which would have been perfect to star watch. We were about to star gaze when we realized that those other campers were already there..but I was like fuck it guy's lets go there any way...I mean I like meeting new people. Turns out that these kids were really friendly and cool; they didn't mind at all that we sat with them. The first thing they asked was if we had weed only because I was there, I told them that I was about to ask the same. Well the stars were incredible, the other kids Mike, Jose, and Emma were watching shooting stars. Well we ended up talking to them for about four and half hours, just random good conversation. Well Emma was the one who was really excited for the shooting stars and wouldn't you know it that when she went for a pee break the most spectacular shooting star in existance showed up. The shooting star went from horizen to horizen and the tail was visible the whole way. I was screaming due to its awe. Well obviously she was bummed but we made up for it with more conversation. Just wanted to share my story that holds a special place in my heart.

Well I have a guy in my class and he is always kinda reclusive and he is going bald and I feel really bad I know I did the opposite of what you said so here lemme try again....

....I fuckin love drum circles. I went to my first and only so far, wen I was 17, and it was MAGICAL in the deep woods of north idaho, long story how an east coast city girl ended up there, I know. I danced ALL night long round the fire, jumping through the river, on the road, MAGIC. best time EVER

 

That sounds awesome. I don't care if its sad it just has to be from the heart not complaints. You look exactly like a friend of mine.

 

I've moved completely cross country this year and started an entirely new life. It's absolutely wonderful. I work with kids who are eager to learn about the ocean and explore it kayaking and hiking and snorkeling...

It's sunny everyday, the water is wonderful, I get to spend tons of time outdoors. I couldn't ask for a better life right now

 

Wow that does sound nice. I love all of those activities, although I have never ridden a kayak.

 

My job is amazing...I wouldn't trade it for anything right now. I also live on an island and my house is right on the beach...I can hear the waves crashing on the shore when I fall asleep at night and when I wake up in the morning. I live with 12 of the funniest, nicest, and most creative people I've ever met...

Honestly, I'm sooooo blessed.

i'm finally able to do what i love again - i'm swimming again

 

im back with a wonderful woman whom i have been missing for a very long time...and im happy again...

I just ate two chili dogs! This is exciting/happy because I've hardly eaten in 3 days and it was the first time I didn't have to force my way through dinner.

A few months ago, a little before christmas, I ordered a bunch of Christian media from Focus on The Family. They ask for a donation price for what they 'give' to you, since as a charity, they cannot sell Christian items.

I had several friends help me out with this and I collected nearly a thousand dollars of Christian media, which was then resold online.

I only got around $100 for it. But all of the money went to Human Rights Watch.

Made me feel a bit like Robbin Hood.

 

that is so cool! i love the monkeys, i almost got myself a little one., looked up the prices, even was deciding on one.

 

Hahaha....My dad literally listens to that all say long every day, when he's at work.

 

it's not heartwarming or anything, but i was pitching a fit because i couldn't find my keys and wanted to get something from my car. i'd JUST put them down, and suddenly can't find the bitches. i was ranting and raving, whining and being a baby bitch and REALLY enjoying it. my daughter was following me around, laughing and whatnot. finally she gets bored with me and wanders off, and i was in the kitchen doing the whole "WHY! WHY! WHY!" and joey wanders up and hands me a tampon and says "Dis. want dis."

that just happened today. it was so fucking funny.
