So I am really nervous about college this fall. Throughout high school I have done fairly well, 3.7 gpa and pretty good extracurriculars on the side. However, I didn't learn much and I am scared that I will not be well prepared for the tasks ahead. I was a so-so test taker, I was pretty bad at math and science, but still managed to get through. College, somehow seems to daunt me, and I don't know if I am capabale of passing or getting through college the same way I did in high school. I have tried uppers like adderall and they seem to help me cram and people have said that they will get you straight A's in college and are really helpful. Should I resort to them all of freshmen year, or try to bear the burden of such arduous studies naturally?
you dont need adde's man, just do it to it. If you got a 3.7 in high school you're golden. Dont go out and party every night and do your studying, you'll do fine
i'm still in college and i haven't done homework since i was a junior in high school which is to say, don't do as i do i'm just saying that to lessen your expectations that is, of course, to say that it depends on the school you go to just get to know the professors you have and be interested in what you're taking, or at least seem interested which means, it has actually appear like you understand and that you want to learn it's not hard if this helps less your expectations also, i have never really studied for an exam using adderall, and i've crammed well enough without it but like i said, definitely don't do as i do (except for the getting to know your professors thing, which is actually why, i'm sure, i'm still in college)
i'm not going to lie, adderall is a good helper when you need to study, but they're not the smartest choice for getting through college. college is very different from high school, and in my opinion a lot harder. but you seemed to of done pretty good in high school from what you say.. if you just keep up the hard work and do what you're supposed to, you'll be fine. good luck!
College is supposed to be challenging, let it challenge you! I started taking Adderall to help me with my studies, but that wasn't until my senior year. I'm not going to lie, it helped me seven fold, but I was also taking 7 classes, working, and volunteering. I wouldn't try anything like that without knowing that you can do it on your own. If you can do it on your own, it helps. Also remember that once you finish your basics, the classes won't get easier but they should definitely get more interesting to you, if not, you chose the wrong major.
