Well yesturday was my birthday... every year my Mom asks me the same damn question, "Do you feel older?". Well it didn't hit me until I was on the way picking my son's father up from work. I'm 23... heh It hit me hard realizing I really let a lot of my "have fun young adult" type years fly by me without really noticing much. I'm so going to flip when I turn thirty... it's kinda depressing. Birthday went well. After coming home I smoked a little for the first time in like a year, and drank some Svedka and orange Crush before I went to bed.
You are as old as you feel really. Somedays I am a teen, I have no cares, blast the tunes and love it. Somedays I am 60 ready to cash it all in and wait for the Grim Reaper.

differant situations make me feel differant ages...like when i meet up with a friend i havent seen in forever and they have a 3 year old kid whos talking...yeah, thats when i feel old lol...or the fact that i hurt myself a little more nowadays...starting to feel my bones lol...
Happy Birthday 23 and 24 are when people generally become a lot cooler, or when they decide to become "an adult"
Don't be depressed in anticipation. I didn't give a thought to it in my 20s. But your priorities DO switch.
I felt old the other day. I'm a day camp counselor for 1st and 2nd grade boys. They are funny kids, and pretty smart. But I was just about to enter high school when they were born. And I remember my middle school and high school years pretty clearly. I'm 20. It creeped me out
i just turned 23 also. i dont feel much different than i did at 18, altho i must have changed because now when i go out i really notice how annoying 18 yr olds are. id probably feel a lot older if i had a kid. but i dont. i have been thinking about settling down quite a bit lately. want a few more years of freedom though.
