So I talked to my friend other day, and recieved a 100mg morphine tablet. I took a smaller ammount (under half the pill) and ended up injecting it into the vein beside my ankle. I have never done this before, but I believe I did it right because I don't have a huge bubble there and I didnt go through the vein. I already had a couple of energy drinks that day, but I figured the effects had worn off. The morphene felt pretty nice, but I felt a little dizzy and my stomach was upset a bit. Later that night (I know, fucking stupid), I had a couple of drinks with someone. I decided to not have any more beers because I took some morphine. The day after, my head was throbbing, but from my knees down, I felt extremely cold. Like it was not normal. Then, I remembered it was to be expected. But, my head began to throb and hurt a little. This continued for a couple days and I am not sure what the source of it is. I mean, it was a really dumb combination of things to have in a day, but I was wondering if this is a normal effect after all of that?
thats not normal and you injected half a 100mg pill? because if you did HOLY SHIT i think that would have most people on their knees and ODing like a mad thing. when i did morphine IV i started with 5mg left it a bit then had another 5mg and repeated this untill i reached 20-25mg total but that was over the course of about an hour or two and i was FUCK-DIDALLY-UCKED lol, just be careful about the dose and dont inject in your ankle uses a healthy vein on the forarm
Holy SHIT - if you don't have a tolerance, NEVER shoot this much morphine. In the hospital for pain a normal dose via IV is 2mg, 5mg in an ambulance in the feild. The comparison for absorbtion IV vs PO for morphine is 1:3. In otherwords, IV morphine is 3x stronger than oral, as a general rule. Like Ganja man said, start with 5mg and work your way up. Thank god you did fuck up that injection or you probably would be dead. As far as the cold feeling - just watch out for numbness, and if you start getting numb anywhere on your body you need to go to an ER, cause a fucked up injection can seriously damage your nervous system or circulatory system and in bad cases cause systemic paralysis/ nerve damage.
