Oh yeah i forgot, i was gonna ask about 'darkworkers'. Are they kinda like psychic vampires? People who have learned that they can manipulate others into giving them their full thought and energy. They'll build up your ego (giving you the schmooge ...as someone once put it), lie to you and create a completely fake scenario and basically get off on controlling people. Is that it?

Anyway i'm intersted in what 'darkworkers' get upto. Who they think they are and who they think everyone else is. A lightworker would be a prime victim for a darkworker yes?

white hat linux...hacking it is absolutely pointless except as a show of ability.

dark workers, for whatever reason, are totally into what they do exclusively for ego gratification. They can be very much like psychic vampires, they can also be the most charming, sweet polite people you'd ever meet.

thankfully the ones that 'really' walk the dark enough to make themselves a threat are rare, and consider most people below their notice.

I was a particularly ugly case, as I believed in the truth, and so I never lied. The same kind of 'not lying' that you could expect from a demonic sort. I actually made it a point to be absolutely truthful, but yes, to a dark worker, anything is a tool...or a weapon.

I kept myself mostly intact by doing less than which I was capable. In a way, I even betrayed the darkness, as I eventually turned from it, after seeing it for the hollow emptiness it was.

just as in all other walks of life, it takes all sorts, but whether they know it or not, the reasoning is the same 'if I can't get it freely, then I'll take it.' attitude of ego fulfillment. The severity is determined by simply how far one is willing to go, you see.

That is also the treachery of the dark path. The more one gains, the less one is satisfied. One becomes, emotionally and spiritually, much like the crew of the black pearl. One is hungry, but never sated, one drinks but is always thirsting, one is held, but never feels the touch of another person's warmth. It is, in a way, to be living and dead at once.

oddly enough, light workers can either be the only one who can survive around a dark worker with ego and self intact, or they can turn a dark worker in knots. But once they slip into becoming self righteous, they run the risk of a dark worker being able to encourage those cracks, those chinks in the armor, and letting them seduce themselves into being complete bastards themselves.

as I was very fond of saying 'I will push you nowhere, my friend, I will merely walk, but my path, if you follow it, may claim more than you're prepared to give up. I would advise you to not trust me to lead you.'

I can, at least, say that I achieved my wants very simply, as I wanted most to simply be left alone. But the question is 'does the end justify the means' I believe should be replaced with the statement 'the means dictate the end'

That NDE or DE was when i was 27 ... i talked about love all the time and certain people said i was channeling. I got pissed off with form and all the problems it 'can' create ...what a crazy world. So i didn't actually die, just followed a hunch that it would be ok if i let go.

... funny, as i started to read "the more one gains the less one is satisfied" i thought of the crew of the black pearl (i've noticed this parallel before) ... and then you mentioned it.
... but this is a condition of entrapment in ego and form for anyone ... not just 'darkworkers'. I've experienced this myself and anyone with addictions would understand. It doesn't deliver does it.

25yrs, your whole post is very well put and helpful to me Yes i'm sure a keen lightworker could infuriate a darkworker. hehe.
And i think many are a curious mixture of light and dark, or conciousness and unconciousness ... until they get things sorted.

It's actually a woman that I really like, I'm a lesbian. She knows how I feel b/c I've told her and she's been very vague in how she feels about me. I've been dating this other woman who should, ideally, be perfect for me. But I don't get the warm fuzzy feeling and it doesn't feel the same when I kiss her. I dunno....I've done that whole write down the traits you want and send it to the Universe. I didn't really make whole ceremony out of it and maybe I didn't concentrate hard enough. But I do really like this one woman and when we've been together and we've kissed in that kiss it feels like she's melting into me and that there is, indeed, something there. Make sense?

I do think I got carried away in my first two replies to you in this thread, but I think there is some truth to what I was saying. I do think that, absolutely, you can psychically and emotionally be this woman's safe landing place, so that if she wants to be with you in her deepest heart, it will be easy to let that happen. What I think you cannot do is to "make" her be with you. It may be that she will be with you, especially if, as you say, there is indeed something there.

My sense is that she is conflicted in some way. It may take time for her to resolve her conflicts or to open up about them to you. So patience is in order on your part. And don't think I don't know what that's like. Being forced to be patient can be a pisser...or you can see it as providing for HER needs, in love, and thanking the universe for whatever the outcome, and for whatever happiness you can experience from the relationship, whatever happens.

I brought this whole thing up b/c I'm a firm believer in making certain "connections" with people. I read an article about mental influence, which isn't like mind reading or mind control. The article mentioned that the person has to be slightly receptive to it, meaning it can't just be some random person that you don't know or whatever. With this girl I feel a connection sometimes, but other times the lines seem "fuzzy" I guess. You know? All she has to do is touch my hand and I feel this electric current run through me. I know that I can't alter someone's feelings, but I guess I wanted to do, I don't know, something to help it along.

 

Sure, I see nothing wrong with that. I know, psychic connections are fascinating, and I've tried my best to study and learn about them from my own experiences and the experiences of others. I believe connections like that are responsible for me having a vivid vision of my wife when we were talking for the first time online, before we had ever met in person, and also for me suddenly finding myself inside her head, looking out through her eyes once when we were having a phone conversation. And lots of other experiences...so if you learn anything more in your travels, please share your findings with me, if I'm still hanging out here.

Hi Mysterious....well...I didn't have anybody in particular in mind, just wrote down all the inner traits of the person that I wanted to come into my life. You have to be thorough. You have to make it into a prayer. After I wrote it all out, I read it out to Spirit/God/Universe as a prayer. I burned it along with some Sacred Sage and Sweetgrass, took it to my place in the woods and scattered it out to the winds. I really put my heart into it I let go of any control over the outcome as Spirit knows what is best for me. I wouldn't do this to attract a specific person as that might keep you both from being with the one you were meant to be with.....I pray things work out for you...

 

Is the sage and sweetgrass necessary? It sounds like a great idea and I would like to try it. And make it into a prayer, how?

no, I guess the sage and sweetgrass aren't necessary...that is my own touch...it just needs to come from your heart...isn't that a prayer? something that comes from your heart? asking the "powers that be" to take care of it for you.

How long did it take until you noticed the man you wanted in your life? If you don't mind me asking....

 

I believe it was less than 6 mnths.

 

I made my "prayer" or list of qualities....I've been sleeping with it under my pillow at night. I don't know why I haven't released it yet. I guess it's this giving up control thing....I dunno. But I read it to myself and out loud to this "deity". I'm just hoping that it works.

 

Ahhhh...very good.....you will know or feel when the right time is to "send" it Remember to read it over again to make sure you have included EVERYTHING. You have to be precise.

 

I still haven't "sent it out" yet.

I keep thinking of more things. Did you put any physical qualities in your prayer? So you could recognize the person?

I'm almost afraid to send it, I'm afraid I'll forget what I put.
