What do you say when you answer the phone ?

I have found that the best thing to say is. Hello are you someone with good news or money for me ? This makes people think. They have no idea what to say. Of course they have no good news or money for you. So it makes annoying people that want to sell you some damn thing you don't want go away. Plus it's fun.

Usually I don't but if I do and feel kooky I will say.."hello"..I know, I know I'm such a rebel...

 

i just make real heavy breathing sounds.

 

I do too but that's during the day when I'm working...

i dont answer the phone unless im at work and then its usually with "what"..

Usually I say 'Hilloo' cos I say it fast. My dad says our phone number...

 

'Hello, [my name]' if it's a business call
'Hello?' if its not.. if its a mate I'll randomly play with other languages like 'mushi-mushi?' 'ciao' 'ola' 'oui?' etc

 

hello?, hey or HEEEEEEEEY!, yo, sup?, what?, or anything of the sort.

 

Usually just "oy".

 

I rarely answer the phone. I tend to avoid it (damn Asperger's ). But if necessary I simply say Hello.

If I know them: I like to recite teh 7 dirty words tehn hang up - they don't even get to say a word.
If I don't: I am unable to answer because I am kicking the telemarketers ass.

Actualy - I have been working on picking a greeting for when I answer the phone (havent found one yet)

 

Tcha, yo, rawr, what?, no., whatthefuckyouwant?!.. depends what Im in the mood for. Sometimes I do this impression of Bob and say 'why I was vibe-a-ratin'.. in a texan/ missouri accent. Hilarious.

 

"Heeeehhhloow?"

 

if it's one of my boys, it's usually "what up gangsta/playa." other than that, "hello."
