yeah i watched it again today, fucked up movie, didnt like it this time... heroin doesnt make ur pupils dilated, nobody shoots in abcess and NY never gets dry...
And that one doctor probably would have not sent him to jail without treating him, though i thought still it was a pretty good movie
actually there r some fucked up doctors whod do that... but can they send em to jail even though they had nuthin on em?
I believe those pills are meds for some random ailment someone had, like diabetes or high blood pressure, something like that. I've got the movie and it has something in the special features about that. There are some mistakes in the portrayal of drug culture, but overall it is a fucking fantastic movie, one of my favorites. The fact that NYC would never dry up is no reason to discredit it lol.
their actions stem from the book, read it. its based in the 70s and everyone is so fucking racist and the descriptions of harry and tyrone scuffling in the streets is absolutely horrifying, just so much more graphic funnily enough.
theres no doubt that the pills which harrys mom took r amphetamines, n ofcourse the night pill a benzo, however im askin about the pill marion n the guys took, doesnt matter though...
you talkin about the part where they start dancing and stuff and i think some people come over? the ones his girlfriend pulls out right? i think those were supposed to be amphetamines cause shes the one who likes coke. when i first saw it, i just thought it was another drug they were trying, like the movie is just trying to build up there junky status more before they show us their rockbottom.
Tho someone has answered this question by now I'm sure, the pill in question is Tapentadol. It is an opioid. And it's what's-her-face that says it, not Harry. Marion! That's her name.
