I don't mean to rain on your free-spirited clever parade, but no thanks, friend. Not in this life.

Heres one of my far out plans for life:

Become the country's largest producer of LSD as well as the grower of the best bud on Earth and a well known journalist. One day the U.S. will recognize the underground drug brand JL.

    I concur.

You can skinny dip with me, if you want.

And you can be as clever as you like, and I promise not to slap you. :)

Yeah, Lou Reed was playing in Memphis on the same weekend, but I couldn't afford it at the time :(.

I'm hoping to catch Dylan's sorry ass in late August though.

I think that I'm gonna do my 16 year old self a favor and put those 40$ in Bob's pocket.

But yes, even Jesus lovin' Dylan is better than them damn stones...

you're right, who am I kidding? I used to love Dylan and still think he's pretty cool. $40 is just craziness, however.

Noooooooooo. Because my friends couldn't get tickets for all of us (it was the rules they could only sell pairs of tickets at a time) which we could have done, but Sonic Youth decided to go on stage at 3pm for some reason, and I went to a Yankee Vs. red sox game at 1:00pm instead. I really wanted to see Sonic Youth play, but I pretty much just caved on what my friends wanted to do that day. Eh, I wish I could have went.

I booooooed Manny ramirez as loud as I possibly could and told him to go sit down when he struck out. The Yanks still lost, though. I brought a poncho and we stayed for the rain delay.

Anyway it had been raining July 4th and after finally catching an unfilled 4 train out of the Bronx we decided against going to Southport or whatever to see the fireworks. Apparently 3 millions people attended, but we just watched it on TV and saw some neighbourhood fireworks.

I went to Coney Island, rode the Cyclone, walked along the boardwalk at night which actually isn't as sketchy as I thought it would be. Apparently they are tearing down Astro-Land this winter to build condos. So, Coney Island is probably not going to have any rides anymore after this summer.

I ate at Nathan's hot dog stand. I looked forever for some vinegar to put on my friends, but Americans hate the British and all, so I had to settle for ketchup. Hahaha, I ordered a small house lemonade - and the thing was GIANT. Like, a large coffee size drink. Freaked me out.

I watched the Brooklyn Cyclones play the Auberdeen Ironbirds (the Orioles farm team) and got stuck in the rain too.

I ate at something called Chipotle downtown near Port Authority 42 where they had ordering sign menus that counted calories.

OMG. I never knew people would have to see the calories they eat before they go to order - but it was an experience, I'd say.

I stayed in Queens for a few days - I took the 7 subway East all the way to the end at Flushing and spent a couple days there in a Chinatown of Queens. It's just past Shea Stadium.

I spent a night in Brooklyn, off Clinton and Washington in a high rise apartment with one of those gate closing elevators (hahaha, it was new to me) and we walked to Prospect Park.

Yeah, it was a great time.

Did you move yet? How's that going?
