I have these shrooms a buddy gave me about 3 days ago which he had for 2 days so they are 5 days old. I only have them because another friend of mine wants to try them before he tries acid. My problem is that I have little experience with mush. The tops of the caps are starting to grow/turn white, a sort of white residue. Just wondering if these are still safe to consume. We plan on doing them tomorrow night.
are you refering to dry or fresh mushrooms? fresh mushrooms can start to rot within a few days after being harvested, but dry ones will keep good for months
