my tangled mane (18 year update)

i kno its a bad pic but been promicin an 18 year update for awhile
this was taken at the wyoming gathering, on the 4th after the sillence, which is probably within a few days of the day mine started whixch was at the vermont gathgerin 18 years ago
(theyre lil dirty as ya can tell, the woods will do that to ya..lol

And they are as old as my sister. It is too cool to think that the tips of your dreads were on top of your head when my sister was born and I was two years old.

u can touch em and rea they always get caught in stuff..or stepped on or locked on doors
actualy lost 8 inches to 2 feet off a dozen or so from gettin caught in stuff

never tried jumprope but playin tag with my nephews used em to extend my reach and whip-like tag em with a dread

alllllllllllllllllllllll thge time
just cleannin up around here i found 6 dreads averasge length the length of my forearm..that were just lyin around oin the floor ..broken off from wrappin round the wheels or being stepped on

only getteing strepped on or run over hurts..if they just wrap round the wheels its just a slow tug instead of instant yank

 

are they heavy? you must have a really strong neck

yea most people end up cutting them after like 5 years because they get neck and back problem, after 18 years I dont know how they weight eh
