The scary thing is that this is a predominantly white part of East London/Essex. They have not got any mass immigration issues round there, they haven't got tons of asylum seekers to blame for their troubles, of course there are immigrants, but it isn't an area that has seen any great upsurgance lately ... seems that they must have just followed what they have read in the press.

Personally this is the only reason I would vote, if these freaks were standing, or any party remotely like them.

Last night in Basildon Laindon Park the BNP came third in the election with nearly 20% of the vote. This is becoming a pattern.

    Full result - Lab 818, C 582, BNP 365 (18.9%), Lib Dem 139, Ind 30.

Wannabe BNP councillor has a bad night
Posted under Anti-Fascism by Antifa on Sunday September 26 2004 @ 12:38PM BST[IMG] At the recent Laindon ward council election in Basildon (23/09), David King, a former BNP treasurer was standing for a seat. Unite Against Fascism held a meeting a week prior to the election, with fifty people present, but no picket of the election count was organised. On the night it was announced that King had come third, and the twenty BNP members and supporters left the town hall defeated, but unopposed. Two minutes down the road, were seven anti-fascists who just happened to be drinking in town. When the two groups met (despite being outnumbered three to one), a 'full and frank discussion' with King and other members ended with them on the floor, and later receiving treatment from an ambulance crew. One of the BNP 'security' entourage panicked and managed to spray two anti-fascists with mace, as well as half his mates. No arrests were made.

I'd like to go but its a bit of a trek from Bristol especially when you're broke! If I do manage to get there I'm not going to provoke violence. But if it does "kick off" I'll be more than happy to knock some sense into those fools. We need to let these pricks know they're not welcome. I am not an aggressive person but violence is the only language they understand. Did anyone in the UK see that documentry about the BNP a while back?

Yep, that's the one. The thing that surprised me were that the party leaders were involved in the violence. I assumed they wouldn't be getting involved in stuff like that and just leave it to the people lower down the ladder of power.

    this is jamie-

The NF were denied permission to hold the demo!! but the bastards are still going up, roughly 100 of them, on the day to do "christmas shopping" in aberdeen. A very likely story, so it would be great if those interested could still come up, because they will no doubt try to get a demo going without permission.

more info to come closer to the date about whats going to be happening.

The National Front are tiny and irrelevent! Not only that but Aberdeen has hardly any ethnic minorities so their march is hardly likely to inlfame racial tensions. Not only that but the far right in general are now tiny and irrelevent to British politics. It is not like in the 1930s when fascists could command the support of tens of thousands of followers and had support from senior members of the establishment. The fascists of today are a joke.
