So I am writing a paper for my english class and my topic is nudism. I just have a couple questions because I really no nothing about the subject. 1. Why do people decide to become nudists? 2. When do you decide to wear clothes and not wear clothes? 3. When you are not wearing clothes, would you wear things like jewelry/accessories or makeup? 4. When you are wearing clothes, do you care what you look like? For example, would you just throw on the first outfit that you could find or would you take time and pick out an outfit, would you take the time to do your hair and makeup? It would be really helpful if you guys could help me out with this!!! Thanks
1. Why do people decide to become nudists? Mostly because if feels better than wearing clothes in my opinion. It's the natural form of the human body. 2. When do you decide to wear clothes and not wear clothes? If an area is clothes optional, then I wouldn't wear clothes. But if clothing is required, then yes I would wear clothes. 3. When you are not wearing clothes, would you wear things like jewelry/accessories or makeup? I don't have those things, but I always wear my watch whether I have clothes on or not. 4. When you are wearing clothes, do you care what you look like? For example, would you just throw on the first outfit that you could find or would you take time and pick out an outfit, would you take the time to do your hair and makeup? Yeah, I would care if I had to wear clothes. Hope that helps.
I have a couple of questions for you. Why are you writing a paper on a topic you know nothing about? Did you pick the topic yourself? If so, why not choose something you actually know about? Did your teacher pick the topic? If so, isn't that a little creepy?
Look up the movie, "Educating Julie" A movie about a young girl who is given the assignment to write a paper about nudism and naturism. It is very informative well made with a good section about the history of nudism.
ok ill answer for fun, im guessing this person wasnt really doing a school report though lol 1. for me, i just liked not wearing clothes. started aged 14 or thereabouts doing it when i was home alone and progressed from there. i guess at first i was just pretty curious, sort of wondering what it was like because we all grow up being told that we have to wear clothes and yet it's like, hey, there's no one else here, do i really have to? but then it became about the fact it felt nice, was comfortable and liberating. 2. well, i wear clothes when: id get arrested or harassed if i dont (in other words out in the big wide world where people are) id shock and offend people whose opinions and feelings i actually care about (like if my grandparents - whom i love but i know dont approve of my nudism - called round) im with people around who it wouldnt be apropriate to be nude for one reason or another. when its too cold to be naked! any other time, if i want to be naked, i will be. 3. sometimes ill be wearing a small amount of jewelry if ive been wearing it while i was dressd, but i dont just put jewelry on. same for make up, if i was wering it dressed, i wont take it off, but i dont put it on if i know im not gonna get dressed. 4. i care, but only because i want to feel confident and happy about myself. i feel this way naked, and i want to feel the same dressed, too.
1. There are many reasons, we are all different in this respect. Some out of curiosity ,for a dare or for a psycho-sexual motive. Some have nudist parents and simply carry on the tradition. This question is really more about why having taken that first step do we carry on. Certainly when it is warm it is much nicer without clothes. There is a feeling of liberation which can give you a feel good factor. Once you have got over the initial worry of being seen naked by others, some of whom may remain clothed, you soon cease to be self conscious. The sexual element if ever there was one becomes no different to that experienced when clothed. Of course they are those who try it a few times and decide that it is not for them. 2. If you find not wearing clothes really feels better for you personally you may question the need for clothes and look for opportunities at home alone or in company when you can be naked. You simply be content with the odd beach/outdoor venture. That is again different for all for us. 3. Some do but most probably don't. Of course you may need sun protection out doors, shoes, sunglasses and even a hat. If you are a social, club or party, nudist the rules vary and anything may go. 4. Most of us do care what we look like just as we do when clothed. So we generally watch of our weight and try to keep trim. There is a degree of exhibitionism, purists deny this, in most nudists. Again there are exceptions who look dreadful clothed or nude and simply don't seem to care. Hope this helps even you are a troll. It may not be a wise choice for an English project especially if not crafted from experience still there is a mountain of information on the net.
Hi, The original post is 3 years old, so I guess ‘heygirl’ should have finished her task since then ;-) But anyway, I can try a brief answer just for fun and about just my own practice: First, i have to say I wouldn’t label me as a true nudist. I guess a nudist is someone who has a clear urge or at least aim to stay naked all the time, do all the things of daily life in the nude and only puts on something if it’s strictly unavoidable. Wearing clothes is like a punishment for her/him. For me, going naked is a thing of comfort and fun, and I don’t feel bad to wear clothes at my work or if the weather is cold, for example. > 1. Why do people decide to become nudists? This was no decision literally, but a development. As a child I was taken to vacancies at nudist camping sites, and at home we were free to play nude in and around the house in summer, so there was already a good base I think. I guess in never had the idea that a naked body itself can be something bad, evil, ugly or sinful (of course people can do bad things naked, as they can do clothed, anyway, but this is not what we talk about I guess). When I got older, I discovered that nudity just felt good to me and in some situations even made me feel ‘strong’ and somehow ‘superior’. I also discovered that a lot of people accept a nudie around if you just behave friendly. For example I used to skinny-dip solo with my schoolmates. Later my proximity to nudism did vary a lot depending on the boys I was together with. Finally I lived together over some years with a guy who was a real ‘hardcore’ nudist and this brought me back on the track to nudism, and I did learn a lot about making nudity possible and accepted in daily life, just by ‘friendly widening’ of borders. We broke up few years ago, but the idea of nudism still is very vivid inside me and my new (and best ever!) boyfriend had to learn (successfully!) to share life with a nudie. The main reason for my ‘decision’ to make nudism an important part of my life is the fact that being nude just feels great for me! And it’s an easy way of life, anyway. > 2. When do you decide to wear clothes and not wear clothes? If I feel like and depending on the whole situation / setting. Sometimes you have to check out the situation and the people. I don’t want to bother anyone by going naked and I don’t want to be naked in a situation I feel uncomfortable with. So, apart from my own home (and my bf’s, meanwhile), I usually decide it in the situation on site. > 3. When you are not wearing clothes, would you wear things like jewelry/accessories or makeup? I’m not into wearing much jewelry anyway. If I go nude, I prefer to wear none or only minimal ones. Like a thin leather lace with a little stone as ankle or wrist band etc. But usually – just nothing. Makeup depends on the situation. If I come from work I usually still have some on. I I’m off work, I usually don’t. 4. When you are wearing clothes, do you care what you look like? For example, would you just throw on the first outfit that you could find or would you take time and pick out an outfit, would you take the time to do your hair and makeup? Of course I do care about my outfit and look ;-) Ok, depends a bit on what I plan and intend to …
