So, two of my friends came over tonight to smoke. Well, my roommate, who smoked my stash and owed me, was supposed to get some. He was too lazy. Anyways, we end up drinking instead. I'm not a big drinker, so I sat it out. My two friends that love drinking so much did indeed get drunk. And like always, they fought like fucking dogs. In fact, they're both nearly passed out now STILL arguing while they're lying on the floor. This happens every time. It eventually grows in to physical contact, which is when I force myself to step in. This shit is ridiculous. Things would be so much nicer if they'd ban fucking liquor and legalize marijuana. Sorry guys, had to blow off some steam. :/
man, i know what you mean alcohol can bring out the worst in people and it makes me sad. but i still love drinking sorry to hear about your night, though

Alcohol is a much, much, much more dangerous drug. I have no idea why it's legalised if weed isn't, let alone why it is exempt from the Controlled Substances Act, as well as tobacco.
I do enjoy a drink, but agree with the general consensus. For most occasions weed > liquor. I, however, never become violent when I drink. I just don't understand the wankers who get shit faced and have pissing contests, breaking chairs over thighs. I just get shit faced and fall off front porches, any damage done is to myself. And that's exactly how it should stay.
not only is alcohol a shitty drug overall... its kinda an expensive drug.. its not cheap to get drunk these days
I love getting drunk more than weed lately. Weed makes me too introspective and I can't handle being around alot of people.
Depends on the situation. Getting stoned is great- its more chilled back. Usually for day to day use and small social gatherings. But getting drunk is hilarious. Getting hammered at a house party is great- and definitely leaves you with something to laugh and talk about for a few days. I also meet a lot more people when I am drunk. I occasionally get random people coming up to me in the street saying remeber so and so, when I really don't have a clue what they are talking about or who they are.
if alc was better then marijuana dont you think that alc would be illegal and marijuana would be legal
Just because your friends fight on alcohol doesn't mean most others do. Just like in reality there are some potheads out there who are scummy people and you know are going to wind up the most worthless and stupid people ever. But most of won't.
Yeah, I know all drinkers don't do that. When I do drink I just stumble around and laugh at stuff more. Never violent. But man, violent drunks fucking suck. I once had a guy slug me in the face for not liking Pantera at a party. Very, very lame.
I've started to drink a lot more than I used to now. Being drunk and then smoking weed is better though
i disagree. weed is good, imo alcohol is better then weed on many ocassions, but not some. but both at the same time is the best.
:iagree: the gov't doesn't want healthy drugs to be legal. it doesn't want to legalize a drug that makes people more aware, that brings out their inner selves, unpoliticized and unconditioned. in general, mj is so much more superior than alc. That doesn't mean mj is more enjoyable to everyone than alc is; like someone said it makes you introspective and people might not like what is inside them. However you want to measure it: toxicity, addiction potential, habit management, r'ships with other users, mj seems as healthy as broccoli compared to alc. I drink when I want blissful stupidity. this is not often for me but I'm sure others enjoy feeling numb and stupid a lot more often. I don't insist that those who prefer alc should quit and stick to mj, just that they cultivate some sense of self-awareness despite the liver and soul killing poison they put in their bodies (assuming it's a regular habit, drinking alc once in a while I think is a great thing:cheers2:. not beer, hard liquor)
I will be tokin in my room my sister will come in with her 40 and start talkin to me. Im just chillin listenin to music next thing i know she's trying to start an arguement with me. Then it will usually end with her just getting all pissed off because i say one little thing to her when half the time shes ripping on me pointing out all my flaws to make me feel like a peice of shit. I like to talk to my sister and discuss things with her but not when shes shit faced.Alcohol is worthless to me, it has caused me nothing but trouble. It ruined my dads life my mom will always be a drunk and my sister is already drinking daily. agreed ganj>alcohol.
IMO weed owns alc. Alc always gives me a mad hangover and i hate having to deal with other drunk people when im drunk. Also with weed its easier to go out in public... In my opinion weed is amazing and better than alc
me friends just get plasterd and sick. im sitting at home tokin to floyd feeling sweet as hell man, but none of them will smoke with me! weed cures the problem alcohol creates... think about that
