I was looking around in my yard the other day and thought i spotted some morning glory plants. I got very excited and went online to search the species, but unfortunately i found that it was not morning glory but very similar weed called bindweed. I didn't found very much on the subject of it except that it is a pest to gardens. So i was wondering... Can i still trip off of it? Mind as well if i can. Thanks
just go to home depot or something and buy the seeds. Anyways, I've had nothing but bad experiances with Morning Glories. I throwup everytime no matter what I do. Same with HBWR
That's funny...bindweed..that's awesome! Reminds me of when we were kids in high school trying to smoke ditch weed. I had a friend who tried to smoke dried up banana peels in high school because she heard she could get a buzz off it. What the hell, maybe would work. I don't know much about morning glories but have heard that if a person knows what they are doing they can extract lsd out of them. What do you do, just eat them? Maybe there is something in the shell of the seed that makes you sick.
I don't think that plant species has LSA in it... Just go and buy some pesticide/poison free morning glory seeds at the store... God...
Cool, I didn't know that. Don't really know anything about lsa, is it alot like lsd? If so, I am suprised they don't try to put some kind of a ban on them. I love the blue and pink morning glories, I always thought it'd be cool to have them grow up the rails of my deck. Really beautiful plants.
The same reason why poppy seeds aren't banned. You can make opium extract from them, and you can get LSA extract from morning glory seeds.
if you want a sure thing and no throwing up, go with rivea. if you want to try new things that may or may not be toxic, check out Dr. dukes database and see if you can find any nasty chemicals in the specie you found.....which specie did you find? there are lots called "bindweed". personally i would not try it cause you dont know if they are safe to eat. but i am a panzy who likes to not get sick
I think bindweed might be the same thing as jimson weed, which is poisonous. I think people can get fucked up on it, but it's dangerous and can kill you. I might be wrong about this. Was reading about jimson weed somewhere.
The answer to your question is yes, they are active, no, they aren't like morning glories (except for the seeds, which are like morning glory seeds, only less potent.) I have used them, they can put you into a trip, I have discovered and made use of them multiple times. :sunny: As far as I've noticed, they're more potent when it's hot out. The most powerful part of the plant seems to be the flowers (upper pedals). The most effective way to use the flowers it seems is to put the thin outer part on your tongue, biting it off from and throwing away the thicker, more fleshy part of the flower at the base. letting it soak on your tongue for a couple minutes, and spitting it out (for some reason I have had far better results spitting the petal out than I have the very little times I swallowed it) also, noteworthy, is that I have found that they are better when they are completely open, and their potency ranges and sometimes the effort is a straight up bust, yielding no results. you can also use the vines themselves. my new perferred method is to take the green vines, use a sharp blade to cut longways along the stem, splitting it open. The next two steps can be done in any order. cut the long strands into the length of your rolling paper (or smaller if you prefer) and let them dry, I have found that they will dry out enough to smoke within about a half hour to an hour if picked when it is dry out. Using the flowers on the tongue is probably the most psychedelic way to use the plant (debatable if you count using the seeds in a drink) and definitely requires the least prep is the easiest. Smoking the dried stems is a mild way to take it, and is a little more deleriant like, though can produce some very mild psychedelic visuals. you can also cold water infuse the vines but I wasn't overly thrilled with my experience doing so, personally (though it was heated at the end) I have no idea what "chemicals" might be in this plant, but I have reason to believe, as someone else said, it's not LSA (except, perhaps, in the seed?), and thus, I can think of no reason why doing any of this would be illegal in the United states or anywhere else that "bindweed" is not listed as a classed or scheduled substance Additionally, not knowing what is in the plant means that there are inherent unknown risks and the potential for hidden (undiscovered) and possibly even also dangerous aspects to using it, that being said, USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK just as I do, and don't come after me if you're the first to find out there's something unhealthy or dangerous about using it in general or to you personally, I'm sorry for giving you the idea that it could be used, and remember, in saying all of this, I am implying that it appears safe enough for ME to use, and I say that with no guarentees to you and your safety, ok? Does that answer your Q?
