Yea in another thread I said I didn't really like the look of them which is true, but I hear they hit so awesome and all that and figured I shouldn't judge by their appearance and should hit one myself. So the question remains; where can I buy one? We have about 4 local headshops I have not checked yet but I'll do that before looking online. If that fails I am almost positive there is a shop in Toronto that would carry them. I mean c'mon it's Toronto! My last resort is to shop online for one which I'd hate to do because I can't hold it to see if I like the feel. So can anyone post some sites that sell them? I was also reading that there are American ones and real German ones and that the American ones are inferior to the German made ones.
online is your best resort.. start with Craigslist.. then work your way to actual websites that sell glass... you can buy roors right from the roor website too
^^^it used to be a tiny US flag there's a chain of store 6 in cali, one in CO called Dementia. They only sell ROOR. granted its american style
you can't buy roor.us online(aside from craigslist or something) roor.de from edit, and that's about it

And they own american roor. But you dont want an american roor. They really arent that great. The European ones are the ones that gained the reputation.
I hear there are many many bongs that hit just as well as roors for much cheaper. Search around the forums for reviews and such.. you'll find something. I wouldn't waste money on a brand.
It'll be flagged if you call it a bong. bongs are illegal, you have to call it a "water pipe" I bought my RooR on craigslist, dont know if you'll have any luck in your area. I really want a German RooR though. I'm quite pleased with my 18" US beaker though
Find someone that blows custom glass pieces. My friend almost dropped $300 on a decent PHX bong. Tree perc, ice catcher and all that other shit. It was one of the nicest bongs the store carried but my friend just wasn't really sure if he liked it. He shopped around at a few other stores and found a place that sold custom pieces for a guy named "Fat Mike". Surprisingly, when I mention this to people in NC, some stoners have heard of him. The store showed him a few things they had in stock made by Fat Mike that were of better quality than anything made by a major manufacturer. My friend settled on a beautiful two foot bong with nearly the same specs as the PHX but it was much thicker. I believe the PHX he was looking at was only 5mm thick and the bong he bought was 7mm and only $250. Everything on it felt much more solid. My friend knew it wasn't going to be cheap but really felt this was the bong for him and was willing to spend more on this bong then the PHX. He was shocked to find out it cheaper. I beg you to take the time to check out a few decent headshops. Some of them are just crap and carry nothing but mass produced bowls but every once in a while you will run into a store that understands the quality of custom pieces. Think of this like you are out searching for the perfect woman.
