I've been working on Bouree on the guitar, and Fur Elise on the piano. "Working on" being a relative term, meaning I've learned part of each and plan on learning the rest eventually.

i learning both "box of rain"(grateful dead) and "bouncing around the room"(phish) on my mandolin. i can play the chord progressions of box of rain, but i always forget what order they go in. and bouncing around the room is still a work in progress. i can play it reading the music but i can never remember it.

i have an extreemly bad memory. if i dont play every song i know every day i start to forget what songs i know, and how to play them. so it limits my learning new song time.

i spend about 2 hours a day on the mondolin.

I improvise alot, (90% of the time) but I'm also learning some Dream Theater on the side... today I tried to learn New Millenium by ear, (just the riffs, not the solos, they are way to fucking fast!!!).

Last song I was learning was Op 47 No 1, Granada by Isaac Albéniz. That was before my strings broke. Now Im waiting for new strings to tackle Op 31 No 19 in A by Fernando Sor.
    God bless -
