I actually have panic attacks, or at least I used to, until I started smoking pot regularly. Never ever even came close to a panic attack while I was high. So, eh, I dunno.

I could understand that if you WERE high, got very paranoid or something, and maybe suffered some severe emotional trauma in your lifetime... could have a panic attack... but three or four days after you smoked pot? You just have some problems, try to relax more!

pot had nothing to do with it. if you werent high at the time then that wasn't it. and THC is stored in FAT CELLS. it doesnt really do anything then. just after a while leaves your body.

Pot does cause panic attacks. Both me and my friend got them after just smoking too much, and I used to get them everyday for nearly 4 weeks, and coinsidently went away because I stopped smoking (I wasn't smoking whilst having panic attacks). Panic attacks and anxiety are some of the effects you get when you go cold turkey with bud, and it's a dangerous drug if you do it too much - especially in the case of skunk.

:D the skunk strand is a pretty fuckin potent and emotional herb. BUT, I still will share my view that I feel strongly about....understand, cannabis doesn't CAUSE it, YOU cause it....weed reveals things within your mind and , in fact, can very easily overwhelm the emotions in a person, usually coming out through different aspects of anxiety (social, paranoia, panics, etc).

my best advice: try to stay away from the too much, too fast thing.....it's real, no doubt and the power of cannabis is so very real. respect the herb and it will take care of you. remember, SETTING!!!!!

    :)

    Easyrider,

    BULLSHIT!
    Don't project.
There's no withdrawl from weed. And it's not a dangerous drug.

Yeah so basically if you smoke too much you'll get anxiety because it's a powerful drug, and dangerous in some causes.

nope.... you WON'T, but rather CAN. It is a powerful thing but this doesn't mean it's powerfully bad...can be, as with any drug....you choose in which way to use the power. The dangerous thing....can you explain this man? i dont know like what kinda danger your talking about & i wonder

    lol...nowww I get it.

As fer pot being dangerous..if you're prone to some psychological disorder that comes full force while you're high you could possibly do something retardedly dangerous...besides that I heard it's bad for people wih low blood pressure and having low blood pressure myself I will admit that pot makes me feel like fuggin shit, so maybe there's some truth in that. Also anyone with a heart or lung condition should stay away from smoke or anything at all that might speed up or slow down their heart, which I think pot can do (or at least it seems like it when you're high sometimes). Ok...I'm done saying that pot isn't akin to god now.

I can only tell you what I know from first hand.I'm no doctor,I do not go studying up on the weed up's and down's,ect ect. I smoke it cuz I like it.I've been smoking for many years.I go way back than most of you here, been and seen things most hopefully never will.Pot does not give you Panic attacks, but it does contribute to bringing on a spell. That is not to say that you will not have a panic attack if you stop smoking. You will.Panic attacks are brought on by many things, mainly stress(and stress has very many different meanings) so,your body reacts differently.Often times the simple case is our stress/problems,ect has us all tensed up inside and out, that panic attacks occur. When we smoke,we relax, our bodies/minds go lumber from the stress, causing panic attacks.I would also hyperventalate(??) mostly after smoking, but not always.I done it at alot at times I hadn't smoked, but it was increased when smoking.
A few years ago I too could smoke one and then get these attacks,I'd stop for a long time and the attacks stopped.Grant you I was under alot of stress then also.
I started smoking again and no attacks as it has been months!
So no pot does not cause attacks but will increase them....
    Hope that shed some light.....
