I think to Bisco too, STS9 not being there will suck, but im going to see them and Umphrey's in Boston at the Bank of America! Plus check out Gathering of the Vibes in Bridgeport if your looking at fests around here.
Not enough jam at camp bisco. Whats with snoop dogg? Its basically just a giant party for people on ecstasy.
I agree. I really don't see their appeal at all. There's no soul. It just seems like drugged out weirdness. I mean if thats your thing, cool, but they aren't my cup of tea and I don't understand why they are in the jam scene.
because they jam... they "jam" for longer than any band ive ever seen live. ive seen a bisco show with over 3 hours of straight jamming, no lyrics, no applause breaks.
it's less jambandy than other festivals...bisco is like the ultra of the summer I'll be there JUST ONE PROBLEM if anyone can help me out that would be stellar: So my friend who i'm supposed to be riding with just got a new job and can't go...so i am without a ride! The lineup kicks ass (agreed with the exception of the absence of sts9) but anyway..I live in atlanta. I could meet anyone in al, tn, sc, nc etc... and if youre from fl i could meet you somewhere on the way. I'll definitely pitch in for gas money! If anyone can help me solve this catastrophe (yes, I think this constitutes a catastrophe) I'd love you forever...becasue this lineup totally speaks to my essence!! umm get at me THANKS ps i am guessing that snoop dogg is gettin on the stage with dj shadow...oh my god how my mind will be blown!!! much love
I went to Camp Bisco last year. I had a BLAST. The line up looks sweet this year. I can't afford to do much this year. I'm very short on money.
the tickets a bit pricey??? seriously??? i feel you on the gas, but the ticket is reasonable!! However, I am heading up tomorrow without a ticket, my friend assures me we will be able to volunteer for a few hours and then just rock out...!!! THE LINE UP IS SICK...and it speaks to my essence!!! Anyone going??? PS i have heard NUMEROUS!!! rumors about tons and tons of undercover cops being there and a potential mass drug bust, similar to the one at a Panic shows a while back...anyone heard about this?
I've heard about this plenty from last camp bisco, and it's happened at bisco shows much more than any other shows i've gone to. I saw two arrests in 20 minutes at the lot at an orpheum show in boston. It won't be a problem if ur not sellin.
