How does the movie compare to the book?

There are minor differences (most of the speech is the same) and the book is really quite good.

Shitty...I don't like Brad Pitt, and normally I really don't like any movie compared to the book..Well, the books that I have read and then seen the movie, always a disappointment...

The book is better, but I'm not the biggest Palahniuk fan.

He's better than Grisham, but it's still cheap pop-literature.

    The movies a lot better.

I don't get to say that about many movies. But it's much better.

The movie is pretty much the book with less plot.

I really liked the book, in fact so much so that I'm going to wait a year more before I read it again.

That's debatable but also potentially true.

Yet it's not all about the ending.

I don't think I have time to read the book.

So, if I'm not missing that much, I'll just see the movie.

It's all this nihilistic stuff anyway, isn't it?

    I love the book
Except for the ending. It's not as good as the movies ending.
But It's ok, because Chuck Palahniuk wrote it and he is the God of writing.
Fight Club and Survivor are my favorite books by him that I have read so far.

I haven't read a single Palahniuk book. I haven't been avoiding him, just have never gotten around to it.

I did see the movie once, though it was quite a long time ago. I remember that I enjoyed it but didn't get it's 'classic' status.
