i like there older stuff more coz they were hyped up and they didnt seem to care about time but now they are all about timw because thee getting older like everyone does so u no bu i hope the memory of them lives for ever and ever
i think they're boring middle of the road has beens, now. they used to be good, but now they're just not interesting and theres a load of bands out there that make better music. thats just my opinion though...... hehe.
the rhcp's have created some good music in their time. they're new stuff is getting very 'delibarately channeled' in the same flow as other genres of the mainstream stuff. it's a shame coz i was watching some of their REALLY old stuff and they were quite super.
Love them! Haven't been to any of their concerts but would love to go. A friend of mine went to one of theirs in Sydney a few years ago.
Compared to their older stuff maybe... but compared to the rest of the music thats going on these days I'd say they were very much less than middle of the road in comparison
Jaz, They are not has-beens!! How dare you! Just because they have been around for a long time and have out lived a lot of crap that's around today!

Informal pl. has-beens One that is no longer famous, popular, successful, or useful. ok fair enough, they're not has-beens.... but there are a lot of musicians who have lived an equally long time, and longer, who make much more interesting and boundary breaking music. i'm not trying to turn people away from them!! like i said, thats just what I think! if they're some persons favourite band, then, cool! people probably think the same thing about some of mine! they're just not very exciting...
no they are not has-beens itg is just they're getting off all the heroin bcoz john got ill so they have cut down on injecting themselves which i think is good but they are getting older now and they have seen that. but there older stuff was more genuine then now they are changing like we all are. luv CrYsTaL x x x
