we're all victimized at some point. better karma would be to think and act with good will especially in situations where you know you've been wronged. better returns on karma include giving up the personal feelings about the situation and letting the universe take care of it. taking into your own hands may justify their bad act, but vengeance is the reward you get. when you look at them with love and good will even though they stole, your reward will be love and good will
they broke the law, and worse they broke his trust he has every right and should go to the cops cuz anyone who would steal a friends video games and sell them for drug money has a problem

thats a hard situation to be in if you can stand your room mates. if you arent on the lease i would of just moved out and let them deal with there issues. i would of just asked them for the money for the games and bounced

Wow, this thread is fucking weird. He got his shit stolen, he has every right to press charges, and I think he did the right thing. If he didn't press charges then, then it will probably happen again. And to the people saying "snitches get stitches," that may be a good way to go with a victimless crime, but in this case it's not. It's his shit, he worked for it, and if somebody tries to take it away from it, then he should do something about it.

Everything's been said that could have been said about this situation. It was right of him to go to the cops, I mean, living with them in the first place wasn't the brightest of ideas, but I mean if somebody wrongs you, and you know it's not in your power to do something about it, getting the cops involved is the next logical step. And so what if it's just videogames, it's your shit, and if it gets stolen, it sucks! What the hell, don't you guys have any respect for your personal belongings?! You don't call the cops on somebody if they're not doing anything to you, that's totally stupid, like calling the cops on some guy that you saw shoot some heroin; who gives a fuck, it's not harming you.
