http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/main.htm zeitgeist; it starts with religion, then 9/11 but definately moves into the area of globablization. you will be shocked! please watch we need to be aware!
i'll definitely check it out. i hate it when people act so nonchalant and oblivious about things going on around them.
I also recommend this film. of course I'm not the one who takes conspiracy or other such second thoughts things get to me, but definetly the 3rd part which talks about globalisation in depth. I recommend "the corporation" for a more secure documentary about globalisation.
I'm pretty sure it's pretty trust worthy. They have an unbiased point of view throughout the movie, even though they probably made it with the sense of raising awareness about the problems of global corporation exploits.
I had already watched this film quite a while ago, but from what I remember, the religious part seemed a bit exaggerated and seemed to hook to any kind of evidence that may or may not be relative. As for the globalization: the banks passing the bill at that time made sense, and annoyed me greatly, I do believe that banks should not have such power. The 9/11 theory is already well known else where. I will always be on the fence with this issue: if the theory is so well known and makes such sense, why is it not more widely believed? Overall it was an interesting movie, I don't know how serious I want to take it though.
I agree on that point Robyn, the religion part seemed a bit far fetched to try to symbolize modern events (how schemingly it seems). The bank part was a bit more widely understandable and reliable. On this point I recommend the documentary FIAT Empire (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5232639329002339531)
If you're up to it, you should try and watch some of the movies on this site: http://milliondollarcinema.com/ The first five are just great. "The Power of Nightmares" and "The World According to Monsanto" are also highly recommended. There's a lot of good information and it expands a lot on what Zeitgiest focused on, as well as adding much more. In fact, just go ahead and watch the first episode of The Power of Nightmares and ponder why our media won't show us material like this.
