    Ed Harcourt tells Beautiful Lie.

    Ever since his 2000-released Maplewood EP, UK songwriter Ed Harcourt has steadily put out albums full of shimmering chamber pop that only improve with each release. With The Beautiful Lie, Harcourt proves he isn't finished evolving his sound.

    The Beautiful Lie continues the piano balladry Harcourt has made his stock and trade, while offering an expanded sonic palette for his vivid musical storytelling.
