tripped out on shrooms

well this was my third time taking shrooms and i took an 8th. me and friends were chillin at a spot which we call bums bed after like an hour it hit me i felt happyThen my friends pointed out a fallen angel in some tree bushes as i looked up to see the trees i looked at the bark of a tree and saw faces all along the tree then the faces begin to move along the soil with their mouths open towards me.I said to my friend''dude i see faces.''@ @ ....as i was saying this i saw a black cloaked shadow come into the trees and i felt its presence.It would move along the leaves and make the them black like there was shadow.I kept pointing this out to my friends but they were trippin out on the fallen angel they said they saw a mouth and eyes form in the trees.They got scared cuz they saw things in that place. I stayed because i felt that i was just imagining this.So time passed and i began to see the face that my friends saw , my other friend was with me and saw it too so we ran from that place. Later when we left the black cloaked thing was entering my friends in and out it would make their hair darker like it was glowing and they seemed to get mad easily. I told them what i saw but we were all out of it. I started to get scared because i realized that spirit wasn't a good one.It was soooo weird i know it was real i had my mind under control. I could just see this force moving about us..............well i just want to know if anyone experienced this.

 

Yup, I tripped for the first time yesterday and I felt a presence in many things around me, and I saw smiling faces in water, on rocks, etc. So fun.

Bullshit, I've felt a presence on shrooms too. Not as tangible as what this guy says, but definitely the sense of the presence of some entity.

I've never seen faces on Shrooms, but, I belive you. I remember a couple years back, me and a buddy of mine did a quarter each... (first and last time doing that amount

but yea, there were many times during the trip I found myself "temporarily" in other locations.. I was among the stars at one time, in a plain as well... I think as you walk and talk - the stories you tell each other start to manifest themselves in your mind... We've always talked about psycadelics as being able to take a walk around your own mind... what you think about, sometimes can manifest it'self...

 

No, it was more of a feeling. I felt like I was channeling something, the feeling was strongest when I pleaded with the unseen presence to "Tell me! Please tell me!" what it was supposed to tell me, I don't know.

Interestingly enough, Carlos Castenada's work (which is apparently fictional) says that mushrooms can be used to summon an "ally." The next time I trip on shrooms, I want to try to channel / summon something.

I'm not really sure why you saw them... I have done enough psycadelics in my time to know that there is more to them than I really know..

there is no simple answer, and I also belive that psycadelics do more to you than just mess around with your head... I belive there is something very spiritual about them... enough to say that I belive they take you to another level of awareness that is just as real as the world you are experiencing when your sober...

Just try and learn from it... and don't pay much attention to the visuals, and cool effects... they are just there for an added bonus... i.e. Maybe you saw what you did in order to learn that everything in the universe is connected, and has some life to it... If you ever try again, next time, try asking yourself why you are seeing what you think your seeing... you may find some answers inside.

It was definitely a mental thing. I don't know how to explain it...I was just saying things (that I considered to be pretty damn eloquent) without really thinking about it, it just felt good to say them. The more I thought about it, the more I felt the feeling was analogous to "channeling" some sort of non-physical or super-physical entity.

And I don't know, I guess I'll start with, "Holy shit, it worked! Who are you?"

 

shrooms are known to put you in spiritual states, opening up your extra senses allowing you to see with clairvoyance. it all depends on what kind of person you are. i know ive felt presences on shrooms, i dont often see faces, more on salvia then on shrooms. point being it is possible that shadow thing is real.

 

And I find it hard to believe that someone as negative and rude as you has ever touched a psychedelic.

OP: The faces in the water were Cheshire cat smiles with sunlight eyes. The toads I somehow "knew" were spirits and guardians of the river. I was very impressed, nothing even close to that has happened to me on LSD.

The only thing I didn't like about my experience was that I smoked some powerful weed with it, and the combination made me extremely sedate. Next time I do mush I'm not gonna mix with weed, at least not until I've been peaking for a while.

I find that alone, mushrooms can be quite cool - yet laid back to some degree (unlike acid).

Add weed to the mix however - and some mind blowing shit happens...

I also find (for me anyhow) that if I smoke a doobie after doing shrooms... the mushroom trip kicks in immediatly... (its like the herb triggers the trip).

but the weird thing is that i wasn't feeling angry or like thinking something bad until my friends said they saw something in the bushes and then i saw it later on...thats when i began to see those black cloaked spirits things. like a few minutes after it would enter all of my friends bodies which made their hair darker and their cloths.

 

like the presence of some kind of entity beyond our physical reality.
